Chen Ji pointed to a row of guards and said, “Young Master, these are the guards selected for you by the Master.”
Tang Qing raised his head to look.
Wow, a group of burly and muscular men, each one looking like they could be sumo wrestlers in Japan.
“Um, can I have Ziyi instead?” Tang Qing timidly asked, as he was more accustomed to the presence of girls.
Chen Ji shook his head and said seriously, “No, the Lord specifically instructed that you are not allowed to bring her.”
Tang Qing looked puzzled.
To be honest, since turning into a human, besides seeing the female lead Shen Miao that day, it had been a long, long time since he had seen a girl…
After looking around carefully, Tang Qing finally found a slightly more delicate-looking young man among the group of muscular guards, who appeared to be around eighteen or nineteen years old. He pointed to the young man and asked, “Can I choose this person?”
Chen Ji nodded and said, “Although Xiao Lu is young, he is already a third-level fire elemental.”
The young man, named Lu Zefeng, suddenly knelt down on one knee and earnestly said, “I am honored to serve you.”
Tang Qing couldn’t help but chuckle. This guard was quite cute.
With the guards in tow, Tang Qing could explore the area near the city today. The large mutated animals nearby had already been cleared out by the ability users, so it was relatively safe.
“Young Master, we shouldn’t go any further. It might be dangerous,” Lu Zefeng interjected.
“Wait, isn’t that an animal? It looks like a panda?” Tang Qing pointed to a tree nearby.
Tang Qing took a few steps forward and indeed saw a black and white furry creature. With a white belly and black eye patches, it had a gentle and adorable expression – unmistakably a giant panda.
The baby panda was small, probably only up to Tang Qing’s shins. It should have looked lively and cute, but it had a wound as big as a bowl on its belly. It was lying under a big tree, eyes closed, occasionally whimpering, possibly due to pain.
“Let’s go take a look at it,” Tang Qing couldn’t help but suggest.
Lu Zefeng disagreed, “No, Young Master, we don’t know if it’s mutated or if it’s aggressive.”
Tang Qing waved his hand, “It’s severely injured, and it’s so small, it can’t harm us.”
Tang Qing wasn’t a saint, but that was a national treasure – a giant panda. Seeing the panda lying by the roadside, barely hanging on, it was hard not to feel a surge of compassion.
Tang Qing approached and observed carefully. The panda was almost out of breath and, sensing someone nearby, it weakly opened its round black eyes, gazing at him lifelessly.
Tang Qing raised his hands and gently said, “Hello, I’m here to help you, don’t be afraid.”
Before the apocalypse, pandas were raised by humans and very friendly, so this one did not show aggression towards humans, just looked helplessly at Tang Qing as if it knew its time was up.
Tang Qing walked over to the panda and spoke softly, “Don’t be afraid, I’ll heal you.”
Hearing this, Lu Zefeng, who had looked impatient before, stared at Tang Qing in surprise.
Tang Qing placed his hands on the panda, focusing his energy to activate his ability. Because he wore the blood jade day and night, his ability had almost reached the third level, and the healing effect was quite satisfactory.
The panda’s wound quickly stopped bleeding, started to heal, and regained vitality in no time. The panda slowly got up, looked incredulously at its healed belly, then nuzzled Tang Qing’s pant leg with its fluffy head.
Tang Qing couldn’t help but laugh at being playfully teased by the national treasure.
“Go on now, remember to take care of yourself.” Reluctantly bidding farewell to the giant panda, Tang Qing watched as it walked back into the deep forest.
Lu Zefeng couldn’t help but ask, “Young Master, are you a healing ability user?”
Tang Qing nodded and whispered, “But don’t tell anyone. Lord Xuan doesn’t want me to reveal it publicly.”
Understanding the situation, Lu Zefeng nodded.
He had initially thought this beautiful young man was just a plaything of Lord Xuan’s, but he turned out to be the most sought-after healing elemental currently. No wonder Lord Xuan valued him so much.
Tang Qing smiled and added, “If you ever get injured in the future, you can come to me for help.”
Lu Zefeng was momentarily surprised, feeling a warmth in his heart.
In the apocalypse, he had never encountered such selfless kindness.
Feeling a bit tired from using his abilities after a long time, Tang Qing sat under a tree to rest, closing his eyes.
Leaning against the tree trunk, tilting his head slightly back, his fair and slender neck was exposed. Due to the position, his hat slid back, revealing his smooth forehead and well-defined nose, making his face look quite young.
Lu Zefeng couldn’t help but gaze at him in a daze. Normally, the young man wore a large hood that covered most of his face, only revealing a delicate chin.
The young man under the hood turned out to be so handsome, with long, flowing white hair cascading down. The dappled sunlight on his delicate face made him appear like a fairy emerging from the deep forest, ethereal and unreal.
No wonder Lord Xuan always had the young man wear a hood to hide his face. Such a beauty would make anyone want to keep him to themselves, not allowing others to look at him.
Under the hood, on both sides of the young man’s head, there seemed to be a small, soft, fluffy white mass.
What could it be?
In a moment of impulse, Lu Zefeng reached out his hand to see what was hidden under the hat.
“Step back.” A cold and stern voice suddenly rang out.
Lu Zefeng withdrew his hand, feeling the imposing pressure from the tall man, and dared not speak further, silently leaving.
Tang Qing suddenly fell into a deep sleep.
Perhaps due to his healing ability, his resistance had increased, and soon he woke up groggily.
He caught a familiar floral scent again, his head heavy, and his eyes struggling to open.
What was happening?
He found himself restrained by some flexible plant tendrils, his wrists held in place against a tree trunk, standing weakly.
Thin vines crept up his legs, from his delicate ankles to his fair calves, constantly rubbing against him.
“Ah…”
It was so itchy that Tang Qing couldn’t help but make a sound, his foot arch forming a beautiful curve.
His eyelids felt heavy, and he struggled to open his eyes. Someone noticed his awakening and manipulated the vines to wrap around his eyes, enveloping them in a circle of lush green vegetation.
“Lu… Lu… Zefeng…” Tang Qing tried to call for the guard to come.
The man, who had intended to leave quietly after covering the young man’s eyes, heard the name slipping from the young man’s lips. His eyes, as cold as ice, instantly darkened.
As the impending divine punishment neared, his emotions became increasingly uncontrollable.
Why was he calling out another man’s name?
He hadn’t dared to go all the way last night to avoid scaring him. Watching the one he cared for in his arms, knowing that his affections were directed towards a woman, he had endured it. Although the effects of the snake venom were negligible for advanced ability users.
But the presence of the young man was like the most potent drug to him, easily igniting his desires.
Thinking he wouldn’t see the young man tonight, he couldn’t resist trying to touch him while the young man napped.
And yet, was he thinking about another man?
He likes girls, doesn’t he?
Or is it that everyone else is fine, but not him?
With his eyes covered and his limbs restrained, the young man’s body became even more sensitive. The vines binding him slipped under his clothes, caressing his supple waist, and deliberately or inadvertently brushing against his two rosy points on his chest.
“Lu… Lu…”
Several tendrils slipped into the young man’s slightly parted lips, teasing his tender tongue, preventing him from uttering a name he didn’t want to hear. The two fluffy cat ears were also well taken care of, repeatedly kneaded and rubbed, shaping the soft ears into various forms.
Tang Qing’s body trembled, his breathing becoming rapid, a flush of red coloring his cheeks. He was scared, his voice changing from a sob to a whisper, tears welling up in his eyes.
A pliant tendril, sliding up his smooth thighs, continued upwards, ruthlessly exploring towards the most intimate place between his legs.
Tang Qing’s eyes reddened, trying to clench his legs together but unable to. Was this a wood ability user?
Who was it, and why were they doing this to him?
Was this person the source of the scent he had smelled every night before?
Tang Qing wasn’t naive; he knew what was about to happen. He didn’t want to sound like someone begging for mercy after being assaulted. Instead, he quietly closed his eyes, turned his head, lips tightly sealed, tears silently streaming down his face.
The green tendrils intertwined on the young man’s fair skin, appearing holy and beautiful yet carrying a hint of decadence and allure.
Even though the man wasn’t physically present, Tang Qing couldn’t help but think of Gu Mijing.
That man who was always aloof, reliable, and powerful.
Tang Qing murmured softly.
“Lord Xuan… Gu, Gu Mijing…”
The silver-haired man’s eyes widened slightly, as if he couldn’t believe the name he heard. He looked at the tear-streaked face of the beautiful man, who was still bravely biting his lip, and halted the vine’s malevolent actions.
Gu Mijing closed his eyes, clenched his fists.
Releasing more of his overlapping fragrance, he confirmed that the young man was deeply unconscious before finally releasing the tendrils.
Gently, the man sat down, holding the young man. He straightened the young man’s clothes, kissed his forehead tenderly, gently wiped away the tears on his face, cherishing him in every way.
“I’m sorry, little Tang-gao.”
…
“Young Master, Young Master.” Tang Qing was awakened by Lu Zefeng.
He opened his eyes dazedly, his face slightly pale.
Just now… Was that a dream?
“Xiao Lu, did you see anyone just now?” Tang Qing asked, pressing his lips together.
Lu Zefeng clenched his right fist, the tendons standing out, refusing to meet those clear eyes. “No, I just saw you falling asleep, I left for a moment and then came back.”
Tang Qing didn’t dwell on why Lu Zefeng had left without permission. He didn’t want to think about what had just happened and hastily stood up, wanting to leave the place in a hurry. Anxiously, he said, “Let’s go back.”
As he got up, he stumbled a bit, feeling a numbness in his feet, but then continued walking.
Lu Zefeng followed behind him, his eyes filled with restraint.
He had heard the young man calling out his name helplessly, his voice intermittent. But he couldn’t approach due to the pressure from the man.
It was surprising to see that the seemingly superior Lord Xuan was nothing more than a hypocritical beast. The young man, so kind-hearted, would even go to help an injured animal. Living together with Lord Xuan must have been only for treatment, as he was a dark elemental user who defied natural order.
And yet, Lord Xuan repaid kindness with harm, doing such things to this kind and pure young man.
