“Ah, I’m fine.”
Tang Qing quickly put on his clothes, feeling a slight stinging sensation when the fabric rubbed against his chest, his tone becoming a bit strange.
He glanced somewhat awkwardly at Gu Mijing, fearing that any anomalies would be noticed.
Fortunately, the man’s expression remained unchanged, as if he hadn’t sensed anything.
Gu Mijing held out a necklace with two droplet-shaped pendants, one blue and one purple. “I’ve handled it, blocking the energy fluctuations of the blood jade. To ordinary people, this just looks like a regular necklace.”
The man circled behind the young man and put the necklace on him.
Tang Qing felt the man’s fingers on his neck were a bit cold.
The two blood jade pendants hung perfectly at the young man’s collarbone, one purple and one blue, matching his eyes. The slender and fair neck, with the blue and purple pendants, made the young man look even more dazzling and fragile.
A shadow passed over the man’s eyes. He extended his hand, using his healing ability to erase a faint pink ambiguous mark on the back of the young man’s neck.
He had forgotten to remove the kiss marks from the young man’s back from last night.
Tang Qing had already learned from System 99 about the function of blood jade, not to mention how precious it was, so he was aware. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, he said, “Lord Xuan, it doesn’t seem appropriate for me to accept something so valuable.”
Gu Mijing replied lightly, “I have no use for it. It’s beneficial for you who just awakened.”
Without effort, there would be no reward. Tang Qing felt a bit hesitant to accept these two blood jade pendants from Lord Xuan, feeling like it was a bit of a hot potato. “Lord Xuan, I…”
Before Tang Qing could finish, Gu Mijing coldly interrupted, “If you don’t want it, just throw it away.”
Tang Qing could only accept this highly sought-after gift in the apocalypse from Lord Xuan.
In the afternoon, feeling bored in his room, Tang Qing decided to put on a hat and take a walk in the corridor.
“Hello.”
A clear and graceful female voice sounded.
Tang Qing turned around to see the female lead, Shen Miao.
Shen Miao looked at the stunning young man before her, clearly taken aback.
Heavens, she had considered herself quite beautiful. But she had never imagined that there could be another person who could look this good. No wonder after Lord Xuan disappeared for a day, he suddenly brought this person back. And he had been holding them tightly, all wrapped up securely.
So, it’s a case of hiding the beauty in the golden house.
But Shen Miao, being a woman, immediately recognized that despite the stunning appearance and long flowing hair of the person before her, though their beauty was ambiguous, they were actually a boy.
Could it be that Lord Xuan had captured a little spirit from the deep forest?
She asked, “Hello, may I ask if you were the one who returned with Lord Xuan yesterday?”
Tang Qing, recalling being carried in Gu Mijing’s arms all day without touching the ground, nodded awkwardly. Shen Miao probably recognized him through his long hair.
Shen Miao anxiously asked, “Do you know where the cat that left with Lord Xuan is?”
Seeing the young man hesitate for a second, she added, “It’s a ragdoll cat, all white with a darker face. Its fur is long and very beautiful.”
“Oh yes, its eyes are purple and blue.” After saying this, she glanced at the young man, slightly surprised, “Just like your eye colors.”
Unexpectedly, the kind female lead was still concerned about him. Tang Qing felt a bit touched and replied, “It’s fine, it’s just resting in the room.”
Shen Miao breathed a sigh of relief, “That’s good, I won’t disturb you then, thank you.”
“Miao Miao, I finally found you. This cat has been meowing constantly, I can’t calm it down.” Not far away, Qi Jingsheng chased after them, holding a cat.
Tang Qing looked down and saw that in Qi Jingsheng’s arms was a chubby orange cat.
Looking at the young man, Shen Miao explained, “This is a stray cat we found nearby a few days ago. I thought it looked very hungry, so I brought it back to care for it.”
It was a common domestic orange cat, with a bright orange coat, snow-white paws resembling white gloves. Round face, round eyes, and round green eyes, very cute. What was particularly special was a faint red mole at the corner of its eye.
A breed that was prone to obesity.
Tang Qing looked at this slightly chubby orange cat and couldn’t imagine what it must have looked like when it was hungry.
For some reason, Tang Qing found this orange cat very cute. He couldn’t resist reaching out to touch the cat’s head.
The orange cat seemed very happy, rubbing its head against the young man’s hand and making a purring sound.
“Oh, you little white-eyed wolf. I’ve raised you for so long, but I’ve never seen you act so sycophantic.”
Qi Jingsheng remembered these days, attending to this chubby orange cat, cleaning up after it, and feeding it. But the orange cat still wouldn’t let him touch its head, this blatant differential treatment was truly heart-wrenching.
Shen Miao glanced at Qi Jingsheng helplessly and said, “It’s all your fault for being rough, scaring the cat.”
Then she looked up at Tang Qing and chuckled, “Maybe it just particularly likes you.”
After all, someone so good-looking, who wouldn’t like them?
Tang Qing also smiled at her words, rubbing the orange cat with both hands. He had never raised a cat before, but he found this cat extremely cute.
“Tang Tang, who are you talking to?” a voice filled with pressure came from behind.
Tang Qing turned around and replied, “Lord Xuan, I found this cat very cute, so I petted it a few times.”
Gu Mijing walked closer, looking at Qi Jingsheng and the others.
He really didn’t like these two people.
Qi Jingsheng had some inexplicable hostility towards him, always behaving as if he was going to save the world sooner or later. And he had heard from Chen Ji that this person had extremely good luck, always managing to have a stroke of luck at the most dangerous moments and escaping unscathed.
As for Shen Miao, he didn’t even want to think about her. He had once admired her, but now just the thought that she had taken care of Tang Tang for a while made him wish she would leave Xuanming City and never appear in front of Tang Tang again.
Lord Xuan walked to Tang Qing’s side and glanced at the orange cat, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.
This cat actually looked just like the one in the fuzzy memory he had. With a red mole at the corner of its eye, in the same spot as Tang Qing’s.
Tang Qing petted the orange cat a few more times, smiling happily, “It’s really cute.”
Gu Mijing nodded faintly and said, “Then let it stay.”
Tang Qing: ?
Shen Miao and Qi Jingsheng: ?
Gu Mijing picked up the orange cat from Qi Jingsheng’s arms and said, “Since Tang Tang likes it, please let it go.”
Shen Miao watched helplessly as the orange cat landed in Lord Xuan’s arms, wanting to say something but hesitating, “Um… Lord Xuan…”
The silver-haired man cast a cold glance at Shen Miao and asked, “Do you have a problem with that?”
Shen Miao instantly felt the terrifying pressure from the man, assessing the power gap between them, realizing that they were separated by several tens of Qi Jingshengs.
Faced with an absolute gap, saying anything was futile. She could only force a smile and say, “Well, of course, I’m very willing. I can’t handle it on my own.”
But on second thought, this Lord Xuan seemed aloof, and she never expected him to be so fond of raising cats.
Especially other people’s cats, she didn’t know what kind of preference this was.
Tang Qing was a bit puzzled and quietly asked the system, “99, is Gu Mijing trying to attract the attention of the female lead again?”
System 99, looking at the familiar chubby orange cat, sighed softly, [Perhaps… probably…]
Tang Qing always felt like the system was just placating him, but he had no evidence.
He felt a bit sorry for meeting the female lead for the first time and already taking her cat. But he knew that Lord Xuan’s decisions were hard to change.
He had to accept the cat from Lord Xuan’s arms and politely thanked him, “Thank you for your cat, it’s very cute. By the way, what is this cat’s name?”
Shen Miao quickly adjusted her mood and introduced to Tang Qing, “Little Gas Tank.”
Of course, it’s you. Shen-naming genius-Miao.
After bidding farewell to the two main characters, Tang Qing carried the heavy cat back to his room.
To be honest, spending time alone in the room every day and taking care of a cat to pass the time made him quite happy.
“Little…” Tang Qing opened his mouth, still unable to bring himself to call the cat by the name given by Shen Miao.
Although it was indeed very fitting.
“Let’s call you Xiao Mi, okay?” Tang Qing gently stroked the cat’s head.
“Meow~!” Xiao Mi made a agreeing sound, happily sticking to Tang Qing.
Although this cat was brought in out of the blue, it surprisingly turned out to be very pleasant to be around. Tang Qing played happily with Little Orange Cat.
Gu Mijing watched this scene. The beautifully stunning cat-eared young man, squatting on the ground, playing with the chubby orange cat, warmed his heart unintentionally.
…
At night, Tang Qing lay down on the bed, as usual, feeling a bit sleepy.
He slept so deeply that he didn’t notice the few slightly cool vines winding around his ankles.
The young man’s ankles were delicate and beautiful, the green vines moving ambiguously on them, circling the most delicate parts, gently rubbing against them.
Tang Qing’s body was all white, his feet were no exception, white and tender, with a hint of pink on the arch, like a piece of art. Delicately fair, beautifully shaped, as pristine as white jade, making one want to hold it close and keep it hidden from everyone.
The vines lovingly wound around his feet, as if kissing, gently caressing each round and cute toe.
“Ah…”
The young man was a bit sensitive and couldn’t help but let out a hint of an unbearable sound.
A blush crept up on the young man’s fair face. The silver-haired man’s eyes darkened slightly but didn’t retract his actions. Instead, he continued to control the soft vines, gently rubbing, entwining in a lingering manner.
“Meow!” A cat’s howl-like cry rang out.
Xiao Mi noticed that this man with a stern face was bullying the human he had just met.
The silver-haired man cast a cold glance over, his eyes filled with impatience at being interrupted.
Xiao Mi was instantly scared silent, his ears trembling. But it still mustered up the courage to approach, wanting to see if the human he knew was being mistreated.
Before it could take more than a few steps, it caught a faint floral scent and fell asleep.
A few clusters of vines appeared, carrying it to the farthest window in the room.
After a moment of thought, the vines pulled down the heavy curtains, covering its eyes.
The man’s gaze returned to the bed, onto the oblivious young man. His eyes filled with desire.
Savoring the taste.
Tonight, in his haste, he had forgotten there was another cat in the room.

I kinda read something like this in another novel where ML is doing similar like this and mc found out later on and hated ML so the ML trapped mc but in the end of the world mc left the world to another. I forgot the name hope someone helps me find it.
