The next day, it was almost noon when Tang Qing woke up.

Sounds of splashing water came from the bathroom, indicating Lu Bei was taking a shower.

After so many years of being close to Lu Bei day and night, Tang Qing was well aware that no matter how crazy or enraged Lu Bei became, he would never harm him.

Unlike the daytime heat, the night air was calm, a gentle breeze carrying a faint floral scent that was refreshing.
