The next day, it was almost noon when Tang Qing woke up.
Sounds of splashing water came from the bathroom, indicating Lu Bei was taking a shower.
Sitting up, he noticed he was still wearing the skirt from last night. The material of the skirt was smooth and quite comfortable to wear.
When did Lu Bei prepare all these women’s clothes? Did Lu Bei still like girls, which was why he bought women’s clothing?
Was it only when Tang Qing was wearing a skirt that Lu Bei could get aroused?
Tang Qing couldn’t figure it out because he hadn’t had a chance to take off the skirt all night.
When he was sitting down, he would lift the hem directly…
When he was bending over, he would flip the skirt, half-hung on his back, revealing a section of his flexible and fair waist.
The wig, which he had been wearing all along, swayed with the movements, sliding over his face and shoulders.
Later, as he stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, the window being semi-transparent, clearly displaying the night view outside, Tang Qing couldn’t help but feel very nervous.
“Relax a bit.”
Lu Bei couldn’t stand the tension he was causing, so he patted his plump hills.
This made Tang Qing even more nervous. He slightly raised his head, revealing his slender and elegant neck.
With the intense movements, the wig fell to the ground.
…
While Lu Bei was showering, Tang Qing quietly opened the door and slipped out.
Staying longer, he didn’t know if there would be any issues with Lu Bei, but he felt like he was about to have problems himself.
Walking downstairs to the inn, he saw an elegant lady waiting for him.
“Tang Tang.”
Tang Qing turned to the voice and found it was Lu Bei’s mother.
“Auntie Lu.”
Mother Lu smiled kindly and said, “Tang Tang, I happened to be in City B for a trip as well. Let’s go have a drink together.”
Tang Qing nodded and walked with Mother Lu.
Although Lu Bei wasn’t exactly a good person, Mother Lu had always taken care of Tang Qing like a half-son, from childhood to adulthood.
Thinking about this, Tang Qing felt a bit nervous.
Had Mother Lu noticed the relationship between him and Lu Bei?
Would she try to break them up?
Mother Lu looked at Tang Qing, the young man always gentle and polite.
However, his neck was covered with marks and bites, clearly indicating that the other person was someone possessive and aggressive.
“Tang Tang, did Lu Bei come looking for you?”
Tang Qing awkwardly nodded.
“Tang Tang, when you were young, you were so cute, fair and beautiful like a little fairy. That silly boy Lu Bei didn’t want any toys; he just stuck to you, thinking you were his private property. He wouldn’t let anyone else touch you. Once, our neighbor Aunt Li’s son, two years older than you and half a head taller than Lu Bei, wanted to touch your face and got a beating from Lu Bei, hahaha.”
“We’ve explained to Lu Bei many times that you belong to yourself, to Tang Qing’s parents, definitely not to Lu Bei. But he just wouldn’t listen, saying he won’t let anyone separate you two, or he’ll cause a scene.”
Mother Lu took a sip of water, lost in memories.
“Your parents are kind too, always comforting us that it’s okay, as Lu Bei grows up, he’ll understand.”
“Tang Tang, it’s our fault, Uncle and I keep consoling ourselves, thinking that when Lu Bei grows up, he’ll become more sensible. But now that he’s an adult, he still treats you like his possession, even worse. We know he’s bought a house and is planning to lock you in there. It’s because we failed as parents to teach him properly that he’s turned out like this.”
Seeing Mother Lu’s expression of remorse, Tang Qing quickly spoke up, “Auntie, please don’t say that. Over the years, both you and Lu Bei have been very good to me. I truly don’t feel that Lu Bei has done anything wrong to me.”
“Tang Tang, Auntie has a question for you. Tell me, did you suddenly leave City A because of Lu Bei?”
Tang Qing pursed his lips, not answering.
“That child nearly went crazy when you suddenly disappeared. He was like a changed person, staying awake for days and nights, frantically searching for you. Honestly, even though we’ve lived with him for eighteen years, we can hardly recognize him now. Apart from his appearance, his entire personality has changed, and his aura feels very unfamiliar.”
“Tang Tang, if you feel that Lu Bei is disrupting your normal life, just let us know, and we’ll send him abroad so he can never find you again.”
Tang Qing was stunned, his mind going blank.
Make it so Lu Bei can never find him again?
“Tang Tang, you’ve always been kind and gentle since you were young. I know you might not be able to make a decision right away.” Mother Lu handed Tang Qing a business card. “Auntie’s phone number hasn’t changed. If you want to live away from him, just tell us.”
“Since we brought him into this world, even if we failed to teach him properly, we still have to take care of him. We won’t let him come out and harm good kids from other families.”
Tang Qing looked at the business card in his hand, speechless.
He couldn’t believe that Lu Bei hadn’t actually lost his memory at all. These past few days, he had been going crazy looking for him, which explained how he had appeared in the alley near the bar that day.
Why couldn’t System 99 erase Lu Bei’s memory?
And these past few days, although it was the same person, Lu Bei seemed to have something different in his eyes. Tang Qing couldn’t describe it, especially during that night.
Even though they had spent eighteen years together, because of a casual look from Lu Bei, Tang Qing would suddenly blush and his heart would race.
It felt strange, but not unpleasant.
“Auntie, thank you for your concern. In fact, I’ve already decided…”
Tang Qing returned home.
Tang Bo saw Tang Qing coming back and walked up with a smile, saying, “Tang Tang, the system has been fixed. Tonight, gege can take you out of this little world. Is there anyone you want to bid farewell to?”
System 99 finally came online: [Host, System 99 has repaired all the loopholes. You can be transported out tonight.]
Tang Qing pursed his lips and said, “Gege, I have something to tell you.”

In the evening, the sky was azure, with large patches of white clouds floating around. The setting sun adorned them with a fiery crimson hue, creating a magnificent and splendid sight. The gentle evening breeze carried the fragrant scent of flowers and trees, making one feel relaxed and at ease, appreciating the beauty of the sunset.
Tang Qing walked downstairs and from a distance, he saw a tall, handsome man waiting for him under a tree.
At that moment, two pretty girls in nice outfits were pulling each other and approached Tang Qing.
The taller, beautiful girl with a blush on her face said, “Excuse me, handsome, can you recommend a good place to eat around here?”
Tang Qing thought for a moment and replied, “The grilled fish place on the right ahead is pretty good.”
Seeing Tang Qing’s gentle demeanor, the girl gathered her courage and asked, “Hey handsome, are you staying at the same inn as me? I’ve noticed you for a while. Do you have a girlfriend? Can I add you on WeChat?”
“He doesn’t have a girlfriend, and he won’t add girls on WeChat.”
A cold response came from behind.
A shadow fell before them, and as the girls lifted their heads, they saw a tall, handsome man looking at them expressionlessly.
This man had very refined features, with sharp contours.
However, he exuded an aura that kept people at a distance, as if anyone daring to talk to the delicate young man would trigger an outburst.
The girls were startled, glanced at each other, and quickly left.
“Who’s that guy? He looks so stern, like someone just flirted with his wife.”
“Could be. These days, good-looking guys are all taken, leaving us with nothing.”
The two whispered to each other as they walked away.
Tang Qing turned around and walked ahead, with Lu Bei silently following behind him.
“Tang Qing.” After walking quietly for a while, Lu Bei suddenly called out to Tang Qing.
“What’s wrong with you? You seem distracted today.”
Tang Qing glanced at Lu Bei and casually replied, “I was thinking about when I should start dating.”
The man stared intently at Tang Qing, his body suddenly tensing up. “You want to start dating?”
Tang Qing said, “Yeah. I used to be tightly controlled by someone, but now that person has forgotten me, no one is controlling me anymore.”
Lu Bei clenched his fist, his eyes darkened, and he said harshly, “Do you like someone? Do you want to date someone?”
His dark eyes fixed on Tang Qing, afraid to miss any expression on his face.
Tang Qing said, “As long as it’s someone I like, gender doesn’t matter.”
Lu Bei immediately pressed, “What do you mean? Have you developed a crush on a guy?”
Tang Qing looked at Lu Bei and earnestly replied, “The person I like is very good-looking, slightly taller than me. But he’s a bit silly, has poor judgment, and always says strange things at crucial moments.”
Lu Bei recalled Shen Yichen, whom they had dinner with yesterday. Wasn’t Shen Yichen the silliest person Tang Qing had seen recently?
His tone turned fierce and harsh, “The person you like, he likes girls, right?”
Tang Qing lowered his head, hiding the smile in his eyes, and pretended to look despondent, “It seems so. He always says he’s straight.”
The delicate young man continued walking ahead on his own until he stopped under a tree, raised his head to look at Lu Bei, and asked, “A-Bei, will there be a future if you like straight guys?”
Lu Bei thought of Tang Qing and Shen Yichen chatting by the lake, having dinner together, and accepting flowers from Shen Yichen. Those images that had been stuck in his mind suddenly rushed out, vivid and overwhelming.
Lu Bei suddenly punched the tree trunk, leaves rustling down onto Tang Qing.
A murderous intent arose within him.
His chest filled with rage, his lungs ready to explode, Lu Bei pronounced each word with a pause, “Tang Qing, there’s no good ending if you like straight guys. You can’t like straight guys.”
After so many years of being close to Lu Bei day and night, Tang Qing was well aware that no matter how crazy or enraged Lu Bei became, he would never harm him.
Unlike the daytime heat, the night air was calm, a gentle breeze carrying a faint floral scent that was refreshing.
Tang Qing’s long dark eyelashes trembled slightly, his voice soft and clear, very pleasant to hear, as he said, “The person I like has been with me since I was born.”
“I was planning to gather the courage to confess to him, but A-Bei, you’re right. There’s no good outcome in liking straight guys.”
“I’ll just let it go.”
Tang Qing mischievously finished speaking, glanced at Lu Bei, his eyes holding a hint of amusement.
He continued walking ahead, paying no attention to the fact that the person behind him had frozen in place.
