“Meow?”
Tang Qing stared in disbelief as the man in his sight suddenly grew larger. He wanted to ask Sephiroth what he had done to him, but when he opened his mouth, all that came out were soft mewing sounds.
He was now a long-haired white cat.
The cat’s entire body was pure snow-white, with a small, adorable pink nose. When a gentle breeze passed by, the snow-white ears twitched slightly, revealing the light-colored fluff inside, as if carefully listening to the whisper of the wind. The pure white fur shimmered faintly, as though brushed by moonlight, forming a beautiful arc.
Most special were the cat’s blue eyes, sparkling like otherworldly treasures amidst the snowy whiteness.
Anyone who saw it would marvel: how could such an immaculate, delicate, and beautiful creature exist, almost fairy-like?
The cat stared blankly at its extended white paws, as if in disbelief, curling them inward then flipping them over to reveal pink paw pads.
“99, what’s wrong with me?”
【 Host, don’t be afraid. It’s just a villain’s spell. You’ve temporarily transformed into a white long-haired cat. Don’t worry, I’ll check now—please hold on.】 System 99 soothed.
Hearing the system’s words, Tang Qing felt a flicker of hope, his heart calming a little.
Could System 99 find a way to turn him back into a human? He hadn’t expected that besides checking the plot, the system had this kind of function.
So the white cat blinked its round blue eyes expectantly.
After a short while, the system joyfully exclaimed, 【 Host, found it!】
Tang Qing rejoiced, “99, tell me quickly!”
【 Host, this breed is the Linqing Lion Cat, a type of Chinese rural cat—it suits you perfectly!】
【 Too adorable!! (ˊˋ)】
Tang Qing glanced at the system’s suddenly popping emoticon and couldn’t help but roll his eyes secretly. (But since Tang Tang was now a cat, even the eye roll looked adorable.)
This system was really unreliable. He had thought it would come back with a method to turn him human again. What good was “suitability” to him? He was a human who only cared about how to change back. Who cares if the cat suited him?
What puzzled him even more was how nonchalant System 99 seemed, accepting it wholeheartedly as if in every little world he was in, he would just turn into a cat.
After System 99 indulged in petting the cat and fully satisfied its craving for it, it didn’t offer any useful advice and went offline.
The man gently lifted the little cat from the ground, stroked the top of its fluffy white head, and murmured, “I’m heading to the council chamber. Let’s go.”
“Meow meow meow?” Tang Qing expressed his confusion.
The man said no more, carrying the white cat with long strides as he walked toward the council chamber.
High above the council chamber hung a massive crystal chandelier, emitting a cool blue glow like a cold moon suspended in the sky. The marble floor was icy beneath them, mosaic patterns forming exquisite totems that shimmered with a hard, cold light under the moonbeams. The walls were carved with intricate patterns and reliefs representing vampire history, faintly visible even in the dim light.
On the chamber’s steps stood high-backed chairs adorned with elaborate patterns, and in the corners blazed several torches. Their flickering flames cast warm reflections upon the throne where the prince sat—magnificent yet solemn—symbolizing the supreme status of the vampire clan’s leader.
Sephiroth took his place upon the throne. The little cat in his arms curiously poked its head from between his sleeves, its round eyes wide as it took in the surroundings.
“Your Highness.”
The subordinates beneath looked up reverently at their vampire prince seated high above them.
Then they noticed the man, who usually appeared indifferent to worldly affairs, was now holding a white cat.
With everyone’s gaze on the cat, the man slightly displeased, pressed the fluffy white head back into his arms, hiding it securely and said in a somewhat proud tone,
“Just an Eastern white cat.”
The assembly discreetly withdrew their eyes.
Although Lord Sephiroth spoke casually, his actions clearly showed this Eastern white cat was his precious treasure, guarded by him steadfastly.
The reports then began.
After listening for a while, Tang Qing realized the castle’s surroundings had been tense lately. Princess Lily and Lord Carter often sent people to probe the castle’s defenses.
There were also mutual tests going on between humans and the blood clan.
Tang Qing was somewhat surprised. He hadn’t expected the man to bring him to such a council meeting—was he not afraid Tang Qing might pass information to Princess Lily and her allies?
After analyzing humanity’s battle plans, the discussion shifted to other topics.
In the north, a newly risen vampire had caused panic, while in the south, they had found a legendary artifact said to allow vampires to temporarily resist sunlight…
Tang Qing listened with a vague understanding but gradually grew sleepy without realizing it.
He half-closed his eyes, occasionally yawning and revealing a tiny pink tongue.
The council chamber was filled with the vampires’ long and tedious speeches. The little white cat’s ears drooped listlessly, showing no interest in their discussions.
The kitten rested its head on the vampire prince’s strong, slender arm, leaning against the man’s solid, alluring chest. It softly snored, its body rising and falling with each breath. The soft belly gently nudged as if it were a warm little ball of fur.
The man casually reached out and lightly stroked the cat’s back. The little white cat purred twice, its drowsy and obedient appearance making it even more endearing.
The boring meeting dragged on, while the little white cat curled up in the prince’s arms and sank into a deep sleep.
The man’s face remained stern and aloof, yet he secretly smiled.
Could such a lazy little cat really lurk within the blood clan?
…
Tang Qing awoke groggily, only to find himself already lying on a soft bed.
Suddenly, a cool sensation beneath him caught his attention.
“What are you doing?”
It was Sephiroth, pulling down his pants.
“Applying medicine,” the man continued his actions.
“Medicine?” Tang Qing’s eyes widened slightly.
He had already returned to his human form, and Sephiroth was holding herbal medicine, preparing to apply it to that delicate, hard-to-speak-about place.
Tang Qing kicked his slender white legs, trying to resist the man’s hands.
“*Smack!*” A crisp sound rang out.
Tang Qing instantly blushed.
Sephiroth had unexpectedly, suddenly spanked his butt.
Not too hard, not too light.
Although the boy was slim, the places that should have flesh were well-rounded, and the light smack echoed with a resilient sound.
“Behave yourself. Those two soft parts of yours can’t take much more punishment,” Sephiroth warned.
“Is it… really that serious?” Tang Qing’s voice weakened.
“They’re about to split. If you don’t apply the medicine in time, the wound will get worse, inflamed. Then I’ll have to get a human doctor to come see you,” the man threatened.
Tang Qing hesitated but finally lowered his legs.
He definitely didn’t want a second person to inspect that area of his body again.
Thinking about the fact that his wounds were caused by this same man, he figured it was only fair to let him treat it.
So Tang Qing stopped struggling.
The man gently flipped the now-relaxed boy over, parted his fair, slender legs, revealing the tender pink area.
Sure enough, after a night’s rest, it was still swollen and pink, like a trembling little flower in bloom—fragile and pitiful.
“It’s serious. You need to apply this medicine every day,” the man carefully rubbed the ointment on, his voice icy and cold.
Tang Qing’s body trembled slightly, unsure if it was from the coolness of the ointment or the warmth left by the man’s fingers. His face flushed even more, but he tried hard to stay composed.
In truth, the man had applied lubricant beforehand, and the delicate area was just somewhat overused—not as severe as he claimed, and definitely not close to splitting.
Sephiroth had braved the daylight this morning to head to the human market, where he finally purchased these herbs.
The humans there were all timid as mice—none dared approach such a tall, cold, and sternly dressed man.
With a lofty expression and black attire, Sephiroth endured their silence and stern looks, patiently explaining what he needed until an elderly gentleman finally understood.
The old man then handed over the herbs, repeatedly reminding him that daily application was necessary to benefit his intimate partner.
Raising a human really was troublesome.
So delicate, can’t bump into anything or get hurt.
“All done.” The man lightly patted the boy’s fleshy parts again.
Tang Qing, both embarrassed and angry, turned away, covering his butt and reproaching,
“I’m not a child anymore, so stop messing around—wait a minute…”
“What’s this?”
Tang Qing curiously touched his butt and found a furry thing attached to it.
A big, snow-white tail.
White and fluffy, like a beautiful scarf.
“What on earth is going on?!” Tang Qing asked in confusion.
The man didn’t answer, just lowered his head to look at the gorgeous tail and said, “It looks very nice, very suitable for you.”
Tang Qing: “???”
That damn man! Tang Qing had thought he was kindly turning him back into a human, but it turned out he’d kept the tail.
Wait a minute, could it be…
He hesitated and reached up to touch his head.
Sure enough.
There was also a pair of fluffy cat ears on top of his head.
“You!” Tang Qing was so angry he didn’t know what to say.
“Don’t you like cats? I saw how happily you played with Julian who was a black cat before,” the man said.
His cold hand rested on the boy’s fluffy white cat ears, the soft and warm touch indescribably delicate.
“Y-yes… but…”
Ignoring Tang Qing’s protests, the man continued gently kneading the cat ears—his eyes carrying an emotion Tang Qing couldn’t understand:
“I also like kittens very much.”
Tang Qing felt like crying but had no tears. Just because he liked kittens didn’t mean he wanted to become one himself.
He only meant it as YeGongHaoLong1Its a chinese idiom which directly translates to Lord Ye’s love for dragons. It means that he only likes the idea of it. In the story, a man named Lord Ye was obsessed with dragons. Touched by his devotion, a real dragon descended from the heavens to visit him. When he actually saw the dragon, he fled in panic…
“Go to sleep. Stop being stubborn,” the man said.
Tang Qing wanted to say he wouldn’t sleep with this old demon.
But then he thought of his wound—said to be on the verge of splitting—the cold, hard floor… clearly a soft bed was more comfortable.
Who even sleeps on the floor when they’re injured? (つ﹏)…
“Don’t worry, I won’t harm a patient,” Sephiroth said expressionlessly as he lay down on the other side of the big bed.
Tang Qing skeptically settled himself at the edge of the bed.
With such a big bed and his sleeping posture, Tang Qing believed he wouldn’t accidentally touch the man.
