Coincidentally, Weixiu’s omega fiancé Li Chen was not a fan of Shen Xi either, so the two joined forces to eliminate Shen Xi. In the fray, Xu Yunchun mistakenly kills Li Chen and injures Wei Xiu. All this pushes Xu Yunchun over the edge.
The story ends with Xu Yunchun committing suicide in a sanatorium.
