Xu Yunchun still hasn’t woken up, meanwhile Wei Xiu’s heart is full of stress and concern.

He just can’t understand it. Why is it fine to freely go in and out of heat cycles in this world, yet letting someone sniff your nape is viewed as vulgar and perverse? Why is it fine for an omega to be bumping and grinding with a train of five rutting alphas, but a beta smelling an alpha’s pheromones will land him in the hospital for so long?

Wei Xiu postpones the plan to remove his glands and begins consulting for alpha to omega transitioning surgery. He’s ready to go through with the process as soon as Xu Yunchun’s gender is confirmed.

He even calls He Yan.

He Yan: “It’s so rare that you call me first, what’s up?”

Wei Xiu: “I have a question. There’s no issue with an omega being a top, right?”

He Yan: “Why are you asking me? Why would I know?”

Wei Xiu: “Huh? Aren’t you a bottom?”

He Yan: “Says who! I’m a top.”

Wei Xiu: “Oh, Xu Yunchun had said otherwise.”

Why such a strong reaction?

After shifting the blame to Xu Yunchun, Wei Xiu hangs up the phone, thinking to himself, “it’s fine, I’ll find out later.”

And besides, if later on he finds out that an omega can’t be a top, then…he’ll just see what Xu Yunchun thinks, he’s okay with anything.

Once everything is settled, they can just start…geez, Wei Xiu you dog!

Wei Xiu gives himself a hard pinch. Xu Yunchun is still laying in bed sick and he still has the gall to let these kinds of thoughts come out of his own head!

The Wei family hears news of Wei Xiu.

They find out that Wei Xiu wants to remove his glands! An outrage!

Then they find out Wei Xiu not only wants to remove his glands, but also become an omega! Absurd!

Not long before, there were rumours spreading that Wei Xiu is actually an omega. Could it be that those rumours have affected him?

Feeling a myriad of emotions, the Wei family rush to the hospital to stop Wei Xiu. But when they arrive, Wei Xiu has already run off. Because Xu Yunchun has woken up.

After Xu Yunchun woke up, the doctor specially ordered Wei Xiu that those going through a secondary presentation will often take a bit of time to adjust. To prevent severe mood swings, and a sudden rut or heat in public, it would be best to bring the patient back home for proper support.

And so, Wei Xiu quickly whisked the other away.

In the car, Xu Yunchun, in a daze: “Young master, what’s going on?”

Wei Xiu, both hands shaking: “I’ll let you know when we get back. You had a fever for a few days, so first, let’s get you home to rest up.”

Xu Yunchun, having no recollection of this recent period of time: “No wonder I’m so hungry. Please make some rice porridge for me, young master. I need to drink your porridge when I’m sick.”

Wei Xiu nods and quietly takes a deep breath.

Back home, Xu Yunchun says: “Are you still going to do your surgery, young master?”

Wei Xiu: “Not for now.”

Xu Yunchun cheers and jumps onto Wei Xiu. And the alpha hastily pulls him off.

Xu Yunchun says: “Great! This way you can still do it all week long…did you brew tea, young master? Why does the house smell like oolong tea?”

Wei Xiu: “Mm hm, get some rest. I’ll make some food.”

The young master rushes to close the kitchen door and immediately take some inhibitors.

In the living room, Xu Yunchun’s eyes scan everything. Odd…where’s the tea? Why is there just a smell, yet no tea? This smells just like the young master’s pheromones, he likes it.

At the thought of the young master’s pheromones, Xu Yunchun feels conflicted.

It’s great that the young master no longer wants to remove his glands. But that also means that the young master must be with an omega. Xu Yunchun is both happy and sad, he’s not sure how he really feels about the situation.

But why is the young master suddenly not going through with the surgery? Could it be that…that he fell for an omega in the past days at the hospital?

The young attendant starts sulking. If that day he had just accepted the young master, would things be different now…

Just thinking about all of it upsets Xu Yunchun, thus he slinks into the kitchen.

“What are you doing here? Leave!”

“No.”

Wei Xiu can’t do anything against Xu Yunchun, he can only be thankful he just took his inhibitors.

Xu Yunchun sits at the side watching Wei Xiu cook, thinking: “The young master is shooing me away, he must really have fallen for an omega…no, I can’t be sad, I already said I don’t care who the young master ends up with. He should be able to happily love whoever it is.”

But the young master…

Xu Yunchun’s emotions are very unstable. He stares Wei Xiu down making the other uneasy. The alpha’s hand slips, accidentally getting himself completely wet. Through the moisture, his shirt becomes transparent and his bottoms are now almost see through, all sticking to his skin displaying the shape of his muscles.

Xu Yunchun’s heartbeat picks up. The young master…the young master really is so handsome…

Right then, a strong scent of osmanthus can be smelled.

Wei Xiu thinks the flowers outside have floated into through the window, but then he turns around to discover the windows closed.

Wait…this scent?

Xu Yunchun: “Where is that scent of osmanthus coming from?”

Xu Yunchun is completely bewildered, but then, he notices Wei Xiu looking at him in disbelief.

Wei Xiu: “Chunchun…you’ve had a secondary presentation.”

Xu Yunchun: “?”

Wei Xiu: “You’ve become an omega.”

Wei Xiu: “This is the scent of your pheromones.”
