After that rut cycle, Wei Xiu and Xu Yunchun promptly move out of the Wei residence.
On the day of their move, Mrs. Wei is furious, she hurls incessant threats at Wei Xiu: “You’re gonna regret this! Don’t think that I don’t have my ways to keep you in check.”
Wei Xiu doesn’t answer. Xu Yunchun makes a face at her then gets pulled away by Wei Xiu.
Most people are against Wei Xiu and Xu Yunchun being together, but there are some people who are in complete support of them. Namely, Xu Yunchun’s parents.
Xu Yunchun’s parents have worked in the Wei residence for several years. The time when Xu Yunchun kidnapped Fake Wei Xiu, Mrs. Wei was so furious she could rip the beta to shreds. Even so, due to Mr and Mrs Xu’s continued loyalty, she didn’t fire the couple.
But, now, seeing how well their son got along with Wei Xiu, the two thought their son had been successful in securing a high position. They bragged that he would be the future “matriarch” of the Wei household and they refused to associate with the other attendants. They ended up quitting of their own volition.

That very same day, Mr. and Mrs. Xu visit Xu Yunchun while he’s at school.
Xu Yunchun felt absolutely nothing for the both of them. This isn’t because he only has eyes for his young master, but rather because, ever since his reincarnation, these “parents” of his have said little to no words to him and when they have, it was only to encourage him to get into Wei Xiu’s bed.
Xu Yunchun looks at the couple, straight-faced.
The two don’t mind his cold demeanor. Mrs. Xu excitedly grabs Xu Yunchun’s hand: “Is everything good living with the young master outside the residence?”
Xu Yunchun nods.
Mrs. Xu: “You must serve the young master well. Do your best to grant him anything he wants, okay? Nevermind the effort of it all.”
Xu Yunchun says nothing.
What Mrs. Xu doesn’t realize is that, behind closed doors, the young master does his best to grant Xu Yunchun anything he wants, while nagging, of course.
Mr. Xu with a loving expression: “Don’t worry about what others say, they’re all jealous of you. We will always support you.”
Xu Yunchun still says nothing.
Mr. Xu: “Is there a free room in your place? We’ll move in with you and serve the young master together.”
Xu Yunchun: “…”
Mrs. Xu hastily nudges her husband: “They’re a young couple living together! Why would we go and interfere with them?”
With that said, Mrs. Xu’s expression switched to a caring smile: “But if the young master needs it, don’t hesitate to come find us. We definitely won’t let him down.”
Xu Yunchun is wholly unamused watching the two speak in turn like this.
“Please don’t misunderstand. The young master and I don’t have that kind of relationship.” Xu Yunchun says, “The young master will marry an omega which has nothing to do with me. Don’t needlessly insert yourself into this matter.”
The two are stunned. Mr. Xu then says: “It’s fine! That’s no problem at all! It’s normal for an alpha to take care of their lover. We’ll just keep to ourselves!”
“Yes, exactly! There’s no need to struggle or fight. Just let the young master notice your care and attention, let him be entranced by your physical companionship.
“What kind of person do you take the young master for? You think he’s the type to fool around with countless wives and concubines?” Xu Yunchun is angry, “If you dare tarnish his name in such a manner, don’t expect me to keep being so polite.”

In the distance, Wei Xiu hears three people speaking, he sees Xu Yunchun huffing and puffing his way towards him.

Wei Xiu is stunned: “Don’t say such things, it makes you sound like a low-level villain.”
Xu Yunchun: “I’m so mad! How could they view a model man such as you to be a philanderer! Of course, you’d only marry someone out of love, how could you possibly have a lover on the side!”
Wei Xiu: “Mm.”
Xu Yunchun is correct. If Wei Xiu gets married, it will definitely be with someone he loves very much. He would never marry someone out of physiological obligation. Not only would it be disrespectful to that person, but it would also disgust him to do so.
He has to fall in love with someone, but falling in love is easier said than done. Especially if it’s about falling in love…with someone else.

Worried about Wei Xiu’s situation, Xu Yunchun actively starts looking for a partner for him.
He shows Wei Xiu the omega campus beauties, introduces him to some blind dating websites, and, at times, even shows him some online photos of omega celebrities.

One evening, Wei Xiu is busy with work, Xu Yunchun is at the side finding him a partner. Hearing the other stress over the issue, internally, Wei Xiu feels a conflict of emotions.

Xu Yunchun stops, his back is facing Wei Xiu, so the other can’t see his expression.
Within seconds, the beta asserts: “Of course I do!”
And after those words are spoken, Xu Yunchun is eerily quiet for the rest of the night.

Mr. and Mrs. Wei are not very pleased with the situation. Mr. Wei is rarely seen at the residence, but his lack of presence is in no way an indication of a shallow interest in his son’s marital affairs.
One day, Wei Xiu notices a new secretary upon arriving at the office. Wei Xiu’s work ethic is much better than that of Fake Wei Xiu. He got promoted at his company within two months of reincarnation, so he already has his own office.
And now, his father has given him a secretary; a beautiful omega. Not batting an eye, Wei Xiu simply puts on a face mask to avoid the other’s scent.

Understanding the reason the big boss hired him, the omega secretary gives Wei Xiu an enthusiastic welcome. He dotes on the young alpha as soon as he enters the door.
“Young master, I know you like things clean, so this morning I did a full clean of your office for you.” the secretary explains, showing off his thoughtfulness.
Wei Xiu: “There’s no need for you to clean for me. In the future, don’t ever enter my room, unless necessary.”
The secretary is a bit disappointed, but doesn’t let up.
Secretary: “If you need anything, feel free to let me know, young master.”
Wei Xiu: “Hang this beside the door.”
Wei Xiu hands the secretary a small device. Confused, the secretary swiftly installs it, intending to show off his professionalism.

Wei Xiu’s attitude puzzles the Omega secretary. The alpha seems completely cold towards him yet brings him a cup of coffee every single day. Wei Xiu says he just happens to buy an extra one, but with so many workers around, only giving it to him, must mean that he’s special in some kind of way. The young master must feel a little something for him.
Of course, what he didn’t know is that those coffees are Xu Yunchun’s special blend low-libido coffee. After pretending to Xu Yunchun that he can’t get enough, Wei Xiu brings two cups of coffee to the office and gives the extra cup to the omega.
Wei Xiu doesn’t want to deal with him suddenly going into heat, but the secretary feels pride in thinking that he’s getting special treatment.

With that being the case, Wei Xiu’s fiancé Ji Chen also makes an appearance.
He hadn’t been seen since the day he found out Wei Xiu was impotent. He was even a bit happy hearing that Xu Yunchun and Wei Xiu were together, hoping that his betrothal to the alpha would fall through. But the symptoms of Wei Xiu’s last rut were so strong that everyone soon realized that Wei Xiu’s body was actually healthy and without issue. Learning of this news, Ji Chen immediately came running back.
When Ji Chen arrived, Wei Xiu happened to be away in a meeting, leaving the Omega secretary as the only one around.
Ji Chen knows why the omega had been hired by Mr. Wei, and the secretary knows that Ji Chen is Wei Xiu’s fiancé.
Two competitors meet, their eyes ablaze with fury.

The Omega secretary scoffs without saying a word, “Just you wait,” he thinks.
Although he’s not sure why his pheromones have been so stable as of late, his heat is starting today, so he’ll take this chance to approach Wie Xiu. There’s no alpha that would refuse an omega in heat!
Chuckling, the Omega secretary picks up the coffee Wei Xiu gave him this morning. But before he can drink it, he sees another person appear and the coffee drops right from his hand.
