Mrs. Wei feels a stark bitterness in her chest upon seeing Wei Xiu come to Xu Yunchun’s defense: “You should see what he was like during your rut! He wouldn’t let us anywhere near you, he acted like you belonged to him! It was ridiculous!”
Wei Xiu: “What’s the issue? I am his young master, after all.”
Mrs. Wei: “?”
That…little minx must have brainwashed him with shallow words of affection.
Mrs. Wei switches targets back to Xu Yunchun: “You mannerless swine! Is this how your parents raised you?”
Xu Yunchun had no parents since young. He was at the third prince’s side treated as livestock free to scold and beat at will, up until he was taken in by Wei Xiu at ten years old where he was finally treated with humanity and given an education.
Thus, such words were but sticks and stones to Xu Yunchun. Wei Xiu, however, was highly sensitive to them.

As a display of affection and care, Wei Xiu feeds Xu Yunchun some tea. Xu Yunchun, in a satisfied expression, teasingly drinks the tea for Mrs. Wei to see: “I am the one the young master spoils the most!”
Mrs. Wei is furious. As one of the antagonists of the story, she’s a feudalistic matriarch who does her best to drive a wedge between Wei Xiu’s relationship with Shen Xi and hopes for Wei Xiu to have an S-Rank alpha child with Ji Chen.
So seeing Wei Xiu defy her in such a manner has her seething. She yells: “Don’t be blinded by a moment of pleasure! He’s just an insignificant beta, how could he possibly birth your descendants?”
She believes that raising the topic of an heir will shine a light to Wei Xiu at the severity of the situation, and snap him out of it.
But, hearing these words, Wei Xiu simply scoffs: “It’s fine, I’m impotent. I can’t have any descendants anyway.
Mrs. Wei: “???!!!”
Xu Yunchun chokes on his tea, coughing through his chuckles.
Speechless from the shock, Mrs. Wei shouts: “You, you, you dare say such a thing to your mother!”
Wei Xiu: “You brought up the topic of having kids. Isn’t that basically just talking about ‘doing it’? If you can bring it up, then why can’t I?

Unable to retort, Mrs Wei leaves in a huff.
Xu Yunchun can’t stop himself from coughing and laughing. Wei Xiu pats his back, repulsed: “That’s disgusting!”
Xu Yunchun falls into the other’s chest still laughing. Wei Xiu continues to express his repulsion, unable to push the other off: “You never take anything seriously!”
After awhile, Xu Yunchun finally catches his breath and point to the cup: “Young master, tea”
Wei Xiu, angry: “Drink it yourself!”
Xu Yunchun, sulking: “You weren’t like this before. You were obviously enjoying pampering me!”
Wei Xiu: “Get out! I told you I wouldn’t be spoiling you anymore!”

Xu Yunchun is forced to miserably drink the tea himself. Then he eventually remembers that Wei Xiu told Mrs. Wei he’s impotent and can’t hold his laughter: “If you continue like this, young master, you may never be able to get married.”
The smile disappears from Wei Xiu’s face: “I don’t care about that.”
Xu Yunchun: “But you’re quite popular, young master. You have a fiance, a childhood alpha friend who became an omega because of you, there’s a school beauty who likes you…”
Wei Xiu, stonefaced: “If you’re so interested then you can have all of them.”
Xu Yunchun: “No, I don’t want to get married. I want to serve the young master for the rest of my life.”
Hearing this, Wei Xiu’s expression brightens up.
Xu Yunchun continues: “Later, when you get married. I will treat your partner as a young master or mistress and serve them as well.”
Wei Xiu’s expression sours again. He’s annoyed, as for what he’s annoyed about, he himself is unsure.

After breakfast, Wei Xiu is still upset, but Xu Yunchun doesn’t know what exactly he’s upset about.
Wei Xiu is often mad, and Xu Yunchun always ignores it. Besides, Wei Xiu will always randomly get angry, then randomly calm down. The young master’s temper is quite volatile.
But today, Xu Yunchun is in a clingy mood. He obviously knows Wei Xiu is upset, but he still clings to Wei Xiu’s back for a piggyback. He stays glued to him all the way to the bathroom.

“Since when do I have a red mark of virginity?!”
“Of course you do! You’ve never undressed in front of me.”
“I don’t have the energy for this.”
Something suddenly came to Xu Yunchun’s mind: “No, actually, we used to shower together before, but one day, you suddenly wouldn’t change in front of me anymore.”
When Xu Yunchun was small, Wei Xiu criticized him for not washing up properly and would always help him wash up. Eventually, for the sake of efficiency, they got in the habit of showering together.
