Long Junhao was still in a mess when he got dragged by Gu Chen to the back of the mountain where the helicopter was.

The helicopter slowly descended, accompanied by a deafening roar. The wind created by the whirling rotor blades caused the grass around the area to spread and ripple like coursing waves. Li Xuan at this moment, with his tail wagging, was standing at the edge of the waves but anyone could see he was inching closer and closer to the center. It seemed like he didn’t care about how ferocious the wind could be and he kept going. Even if he was blown away and became a meteor in the sky, he would somehow run back here while wagging his tail and still walk towards the center.

Long Junhao sniffed and felt that instead of clearing his head, the wind actually made it more of a mess.

Gu Chen lowered his head to look at Long Junhao and noticed his soft and slightly curled hair. His hair became ruffled when the wind blew, however it didn’t make him look unkempt. Instead, he looked cute. And if you add that small pouting face… he was just too adorable. Gu Chen pulled him into his embrace and began rubbing his head.

Immediately, Long Junhao flew into a rage and shouted at him. “Bitch, get your dirty hands off me!”

Gu Chen laughed and kissed him on the cheek. He clasped him more tightly in his arms, making sure that Long Junhao couldn’t escape. “What kind of trouble are you stirring up now?”

“What are you talking about? You’re the one stirring up trouble, all of you are stirring up trouble!” Long Junhao raged more. “It’s all your fault. Your prince actually had a chance to leave this place today! That demon actually gave his permission!”

Gu Chen looked at him in pity. “I feel that whenever your father visits you, your symptoms get worse. Why?”

“How would your prince know!” Long Junhao felt so much regret that he wanted to hit his head on the wall. “That demon really gave permission this time! That was a once in a lifetime chance!”

Gu Chen felt even more pity. “But you’re still crazy.”

Long Junhao bitterly sputtered out. “Is this what they call fate!”

“It’s possible.”

“Your prince is definitely not compatible with him! Eh, no,“ Long Junhao glared at him, “don’t try to change the topic, you’re responsible for what happened! It’s your fault! If it weren’t for you, I would’ve left already!”

Gu Chen, of course, understood the consequences of his actions and looked away sheepishly, trying not to meet eyes with him. In the end, his eyes landed on the person coming down from the helicopter. “Look, it’s Xiao Yu.”

“Hmph.” Long Junhao reluctantly turned to look and saw Li Xuan intimately escorting the person.

A cold face that looked refined and clear. Jade white skin with a slight blush, a slender nose with thin lips and a slightly pointed chin. He was the ideal image of a beautiful person.

This person was the VIP of the asylum and also the only one who recovered and was discharged from the place. It was Li Xuan who had spent too much money and manpower to treat him and thus, in order to make up for the losses, he came up with a heinous method to collect money.

“Honey, are you tired? Thirsty? Hungry? Sleepy? If you’re sleepy, we can sleep together.”

While Li Xuan was talking, Long Junhao and Gu Chen walked over.

“…Isn’t that last sentence your actual motive? It’s wrong to commit daylight adultery when you’re the dean.” Long Junhao spoke.

“No way, you don’t know anything.” Li Xuan pretended to be solemn, “As a man who loves his wife, when your wife is sleepy, it is natural to □□. Even if it were to rain money or if I have to abandon my work and you patients, it will not get in the way of my enthusiasm for □□.”

Li Xuan smugly looked at his wife while imagining how moved he would be by his words. However, not only did his hands get peeled off his arm, he was also unceremoniously kicked to the side by his foot.

Xiao Yu nodded his head in greeting to Gu Chen and glanced over to speak to Long Junhao. “I’ve heard of you, just call me Xiao Yu.”

“Ah, hello…” Long Junhao replied. From the corner of his eyes, he saw the person who had been kicked aside secretly shuffling back and tentatively pulling onto the corner of his wife’s shirt. After seeing that there were no objections, he grew more courageous and continued pulling.

After a while of pulling and checking if his wife was mad, Li Xuan once again clung onto him and started wagging his tail in content. “Honey, are you sleepy or not?”

“No.” Xiao Yu nonchalantly replied and walked away.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re not sleepy,“ Li Xuan hurriedly added, “honey, you’ll get sleepy after lying on the bed for a while. If you don’t believe me, you can go and try. Let’s go, I’ll also lie on the bed with you.” As soon as he finished speaking, he was kicked away once again but still, he relentlessly crawled back to Xiao Yu’s side.

“……” Long Junhao had black lines covering his face as he watched them leave but asked Gu Chen with interest, “what’s his full name?”

“It’s better if you don’t know,“ Gu Chen looked at the two people in front, “he once said that in his name, everything else except for the word ‘Yu’ is shit. So whenever he meets with new people, he would ask them to call him Xiao Yu.”

Long Junhao muttered a sound of acknowledgement before looking to the side.

Gu Chen who was about to bring him back but grabbed onto air, turned his head in surprise and was met with the sight of Long Junhao running to the helicopter with a face of excitement and amazement. He was truly shocked from the bottom of his heart. There’s no way he’d so naively think of getting onto the helicopter to escape right?

He hurried over and saw Long Junhao looking up at it, then… he saw him perform a very mystifying action —— Long Junhao wiped his hands on his pants, making sure they were clean before carefully touching the helicopter. Both his eyes were gleaming and he was drooling in excitement.

Three black lines immediately appeared on Gu Chen’s head. “…what are you doing?”

“This is a helicopter, a real helicopter…” Long Junhao was so amazed he almost burst into tears, “there are so many magical things in the world, don’t you agree?”

Gu Chen’s mouth twitched. “Nope, I don’t agree.”

“Tch, ignorant.” Long Junhao spat out those words before beginning his inspection. His hands were itching to remove the screws but he settled with just looking at the interior and exterior of the helicopter. After inspecting everything, he lightly touched the driver’s seat, “I want to fly…” He turned to look at Gu Chen with a complicated gaze and walked to the door of the passenger compartment.

“Your prince wants to fly.” Long Junhao sighed heavily.

Gu Chen’s mouth twitched again and he pulled Long Junhao down from the helicopter. He placed his hand on the other party’s forehead before touching his own and muttered, “it’s not hot…”

Long Junhao’s expression stiffened for a moment, he broke away from him and retreated back a few steps. “I knew it,“ he spat out bitterly, “you think I’m crazy again, don’t you?”

“I didn’t say anything,“ Gu Chen immediately raised both hands in surrender, “I just thought you had a fever.”

“But I don’t have a fever!”

“Yeah,” Gu Chen nodded in agreement, “that’s why there’s a problem.”

“…” Long Junhao felt even more bitter, “so in the end, you still think I’m crazy!” He whipped around and trudged in the direction past the helicopter. Gu Chen hurriedly tried to catch up. “Hao Hao, you’re going the opposite direction.”

The prince seethed. “Don’t talk to me!”

“Xiao Yu knows how to operate the helicopter, you can fly together with him next time.”

He saw the prince stop in his tracks and glance behind to look at him. Gu Chen immediately shot him a sincere smile.

After biting his nails and thinking for a long time, the prince finally replied, “…really?”

“Yes, really.” Gu Chen said with even more sincerity.

Once again, the prince thought for a long time before he nodded. “Then your prince shall believe in you, albeit reluctantly.”

He’s so easy to coax. Gu Chen grinned.

“Anyways, you really went the wrong direction. There’s only a cliff if you continue down this way. Let’s go back.”

“Eh, wait, cliff?” Long Junhao looked back. He never had the chance to go to the back of the mountain before so he didn’t know about such a thing. He peered at the forest in front of him, “so there aren’t any walls beyond this forest?”

“No,” Gu Chen turned his head and motioned for Long Junhao to look as well. In between the forest and the landing spot, there were a few buildings. “Look, there are also mercenaries over there. If you compare the amount of mercenaries guarding the main entrance, they have slightly more guarding this place. So there won’t be anyone who would try to escape from here, including you. Understand?”

Long Junhao immediately puckered his lips, unwilling to give up. “What’s below the cliff?”

“Well, there’s no sea underneath so if you fall down, you’ll die.” Gu Chen quickly dragged him back so as to prevent him from becoming like the Amah Rock1a naturally shaped rock located on a hilltop and is said to depict the image of a wife gazing out for her husband.

“That won’t happen,” Long Junhao pondered for a moment, “there might be a chance of getting a secret martial arts scripture or maybe a legendary divine weapon.”

Gu Chen petted his head. “It sounds like you’ve transmigrated here.” After replying, he continued to walk only to realise the person behind him wasn’t following. He turned around and was stunned —— Long Junhao’s eyes were red and teary and his lips were trembling.

“……what’s the matter with you again?”

Long Junhao was trembling as he grabbed his arm. He sobbed out, “I-I really did transmigrate here…”

“……”

“I really transmigrated, it’s true, believe me!”

Gu Chen massaged his own forehead. “…Okay.”

Long Junhao’s eyes lit up as he thought Gu Chen really believed him but just as he was about to add on to his words, he heard Gu Chen muttering to himself. “Every time Long Xi leaves, he would become like this. I should’ve already gotten used to it…”

“……”

Taoist Master Chu was making an array in the courtyard and he saw the whole situation of Long Junhao being messily dragged away by Gu Chen and then, in more of a mess, get dragged back again. He shook his head and sighed, feeling a bit compassionate for him.

Keeping away his sword, he reached into his long sleeves and brought out a bright yellow talisman before slapping it on Long Junhao’s forehead.

Everyone froze. Long Junhao was so angry, he inhaled and exhaled rapidly and the people around felt like their hearts were going to jump out from their mouths. Taoist Master Chu, oblivious to all of this, waved for his disciple, Luo Yi. A bowl of clear water was immediately brought to him and he dipped his hand in before sprinkling the water onto Long Junhao. “Soul of the dead, return—— return——”

Long Junhao trembled with anger and ripped the talisman off his face.

Taoist Master Chu looked at the angry prince and solemnly nodded his head. With a flutter of his sleeves, he turned around and asked his disciple. “Have you learnt?”

“Yes, I’ve learnt,” Luo Yi grinned while nodding his head, “I have gained a lot from this.”

Taoist Master Chu made a sound of approval. “You have talent.”

“Master is the one that has taught me well.” Luo Yi continued to grin.

“……Taoist Master Chu,” Long Junhao drawled as he forced out a stiff smile, “your prince has something to ask and was wondering if you could help?”

The people around gasped and hurried to persuade the taoist master from listening to the prince. However, Taoist Master Chu, who took the safety of all the people in the world as his own responsibility, ignored them. “I will do everything I can to help.”

“That’s good,” Long Junhao pointed at the lake, “there is an evil spirit living there and harming the people. I hope you can get rid of it.”

“No problem.” Taoist Master Chu immediately walked to the edge of the lake and got ready to jump in.

Luo Yi quickly grabbed onto him. “Master, this is only a small matter, let your disciple settle it.” With that, he took off his clothes and jumped into the lake. The sound of water splashing could be heard as Luo Yi swam around for a while before he looked back. “Reporting back to master, the evil spirit has been vanquished.”

Taoist Master Chu was pleased and nodded his head. Luo Yi was about to reply but he suddenly stopped. Because he had seen a certain prince slowly smiling at him from behind Taoist Master Chu as if to say, ‘I knew that you would jump down instead.’

Luo Yi suddenly had a bad premonition.

The prince slowly started speaking. “Taoist Master,” he pointed in the distance, “there’s another evil spirit beyond the forest over there. It is very difficult to deal with. I hope the Taoist Master can completely eliminate it.”

“No problem.” Taoist Master Chu boldly drew his sword and left with a flutter of his sleeves. Everyone went crazy and immediately rushed to chase him. Luo Yi, who was in the lake, climbed out and grabbed his clothes before also giving chase.

“Hao Hao,” Gu Chen looked into the distance, “that’s a cliff.”

“Yeah,” Long Junhao said, “aren’t there mercenaries? Don’t worry, Chu Jian won’t be able to get past them. But, he is very persistent.”

“Mhm,” Gu Chen nodded his head in agreement, “they will hate you.”

“Serves them right, who told them to even guard that place,” Long Junhao unhappily glanced at him, “Buddha once said, ‘if someone has to take on all the heavy work, let me do it.’2我不入地狱,谁入地狱 – direct translation would be ‘If I don’t go to hell, who will?” Haven’t you heard of it?” As soon as he finished his sentence, he saw Shu Wen weakly drifting to him. He immediately shouted. “My virtuous wife who has been through a lot, your prince is going to divorce you!”

Shu Wen abruptly came to a stop and sniffed, “I… I don’t want to live anymore…”

With a sob, he turned around and ran, leaving the people behind to catch up with him.

Gu Chen: “……”
