Chapter 53

Secondary presentation? Xu Yunchun is dumbfounded. Is such a thing even possible?

Wei Xiu explains: “I let you sniff too many pheromones, spurring a secondary presentation.”

With that, Xu Yunchun recalls He Yan’s experience from the original novel, an alpha rolled around in bed with Wei Xiu a few too many times and forcibly became an omega.

Xu Yunchun lets out a wail: “This is all the young master’s fault!!!”

Wei Xiu rushes to console him: “I’m sorry!”

In seconds, Xu Yunchun is embraced by the young master as he comforts him, a wave of pheromones surging, the scent of osmanthus getting stronger and stronger.

Suddenly, Xu Yunchun pulls away as if he feels an electric shock. What’s happening? He can’t hide his feelings at all.

Wei Xiu: “Have some medicine.”

Xu Yunchun: “I’ve just lost control of my pheromones, okay? Don’t start imagining things! It’s really nothing!”

Xu Yunchun eats his own medicine for the first time and realizes it’s unbearably bitter.

Wei Xiu puts some sweetener in it and hands it back to him. He starts coughing furiously at the first sip. Osmanthus honey! He’s been trying so hard to get osmanthus out of his head, only to get a taste of osmanthus honey!

The young master likes osmanthus, and his pheromones turned out to smell like osmanthus flowers…

Wei Xiu knows what Xu Yunchun is thinking.  Earlier when he smelt the scent he was surprised, then he couldn’t help but feel a little bashful.

Even their respective scents became each other’s favorite. It’s truly quite audacious. He loves it.

Xu Yunchun quickly realizes that being an omega is just too hard.

He sees the young master changing his clothes…pheromone attack!

Xu Yunchun: “Really?”

Thus, through Wei Xiu’s incessant antics, Xu Yunchun notices that the frequency of him bumping into the young master changing has suddenly increased.

Xu Yunchun, confused: “Is there a problem with your clothes? You’ve changed them at least ten times today.”

Wei Xiu, in the middle of calmly unbuttoning his shirt: “…I can’t stand it. When I wear a piece of clothing for too long, it feels dirty.”

Xu Yunchun: “The young master truly is a germaphobe.”

Xu Yunchun believes so strongly in Wei Xiu’s modest values, he can’t even fathom the idea that Wei Xiu may be trying to seduce him.

And Wei Xiu knows that his mind is far more tainted than these clothes, yet has no intentions of reeling back his behaviour.

It’s just a bit of flirting anyway, there’s no way things could go wrong, right?

Anyway, we’re coming up on the ending parts of the main story. These next chapters are going to continue to be this long (in fact, the last chapter is double the length of this one). I considered taking a short break after the last chapter, but at this rate, I think I can continue at this pace. I’ll update when we get there haha
