Chapter 36

After waking up the next day, Xia Tian had a look of dissatisfaction mixed with desire.

Yesterday, he had so many thoughts, but did not say anything. In addition, he was taken advantage by Han Cheng from start to finish, and ended up running away in embarrassment.

Compared to Han Cheng, who was composed, Xia Tian was more eager for substantial intimacy.

It was a pity that Han Cheng was very tense. He could speak frankly and honestly when he flirted, but he just didn’t implement it.

This was so annoying!

“Not enough sleep?” Last night after Xia Tian left, Han Cheng worked for more than an hour, but he still looked refreshed at the moment. He looked at Xia Tian’s lackluster eyes. “Need me to help you ask for a day of absence?”

Xia Tian shook his head hurriedly. “No, I just…”

Xia Tian felt that Han Cheng was knowingly asking something he already knew.

“What is it?” Han Cheng asked after taking a sip of water.

Xia Tian couldn’t say it. He thought that Han Cheng could guess and was deliberately teasing him. He faltered. “It’s okay…”

“If it’s nothing, then hurry up and eat.” Han Cheng said, “Master Li’s daughter is sick and he can’t come today. Liang Qingfeng is going to work this morning and has no time to come. I’ll be your driver today and send you to school.”

Xia Tian’s eyes brightened and he instantly felt a bit better.

After having breakfast, he checked his school bag to make sure that he had all his homework and then got into the car with Han Cheng.

Han Cheng drove the car that he gave to Xia Tian. It had been a long time since it was used so he let the car start for a while and said in a low voice, “Fasten your seat belt.”

“You… help me.” Xia Tian’s heartbeat speeded up. He wanted to steal a kiss when Han Cheng leaned over and fastened his seat belt.

Who made Han Cheng not take the initiative.

Han Cheng was stunned and smiled. “If I really did something last night, it would make you tired and unable to wear a seat belt. Xia Tian… I told you to go to bed early last night and I didn’t do anything. “

Xia Tian just wanted to rant. It was because you didn’t do anything! I want to make up for it now!

Xia Tian blushed. Admitting to his fate, he fastened his seat belt.

There was silence along the way, and when they were about to reach Xia Tian’s school, Han Cheng wanted to light a cigarette, but gave up after thinking about it.

Han Cheng turned his head to look at Xia Tian and saw that he was looking at his phone intently and was checking something.

Han Cheng glanced over and saw Xia Tian was searching for “cold violence in marriage.”

Han Cheng, “…”

Han Cheng suddenly felt that his restraint these days had been broken.

The car in front moved a bit, equivalent to merely two steps. The traffic jam became even more severe.

Han Cheng pursed his lips and suddenly said, “Xia Tian… When was I cold and violent to you?”

“Ah?!” Xia Tian subconsciously grasped the phone and concealed it. “What did you say…”

Han Cheng turned his head and peered at him, frowning. “Do you know what cold violence is?”

Xia Tian was caught on the spot and stubbornly answered, “I don’t understand… so I wanted to check it out.”

Han Cheng smiled in frustration. “Did you find out? Was I cold and violent towards you?”

Xia Tian gathered up his courage and said, “You… financially control me, and then you deliberately dissatisfied my… demands. Actually, it can be considered as such… right?”

Financially controlled. There were occasional deductions of his pocket money. But before he made mistakes, Han Cheng would double his pocket money first.

Not satisfying his needs. When he was trying to ask him for a kiss last night.

Han Cheng had fought several lawsuits since he became an adult, but it was the first time he encountered such a tricky one.

Han Cheng nodded and said, “Look up on the internet… How about I introduce you to a lawyer? Even if you don’t need one now, you can prepare first. Maybe it’ll escalate into domestic violence someday.”

For example, Han Cheng quite wants to beat Xia Tian now.

“No, no.” Xia Tian smiled with a guilty conscience. “I just casually checked it out… Besides, we have a relationship basis. Even if we hire a lawyer, people will persuade you otherwise first?”

Relationship basis… Han Cheng smiled, unfastened his seat belt and said, “Really? I thought you wanted to sue me. So, what are you going to do?”

“Privately…” Xia Tian swallowed and said, “However, in this matter, I won’t be able to suppress it after two kisses… hpmh…”

Han Cheng didn’t wait for Xia Tian to finish and kissed his lips.

……

When the car in front finally moved, Han Cheng let go of Xia Tian and drove up as usual. Xia Tian’s face was flushed and tried his best to calm down. He picked up his phone and deleted the search page.

After sending Xia Tian to school, the road conditions became worse. Han Cheng was stuck in traffic for more than an hour. Fortunately, he’d handled a lot of work in advance last night, so when he arrived at the company, nothing was delayed.

After being busy for an hour, Liang Qingfeng opened the door to Han Cheng’s office and walked in with a magazine.

The magazine was the Han Cheng special issue that would be released next month. They sent the sample issue over early, as a matter of routine politeness. It was to let him see if there was anything that needed to be revised.

With Liang Qingfeng checking, naturally there was no disagreement. Han Cheng glanced through it hurriedly and looked at the cover of the magazine thoughtfully.

Liang Qingfeng thought that Han Cheng was unsatisfied and said, “If you think it is not good, I will contact them to revise it, or… directly change it to someone from our company to write the article.”

Han Cheng shook his head. “It’s not about this…”

Before accepting the interview, Han Cheng was thinking about how to make Zhou Yun accept the matter.

Of course, it was not just this magazine. He and Xia Tian must first get Zhou Yun’s approval.

And Zhou Yun’s distrust and uncertainty towards him were obvious.

This was one of the reasons why Han Cheng tried his best to keep his distance from Xia Tian and asked him to “consider things for a while”.

Xia Tian only had his mother left. Han Cheng didn’t want him to have a conflict with Zhou Yun because of himself.

Han Cheng was not sure how much influence Zhou Yun had on Xia Tian. If she didn’t agree with Xia Tian and let them be together, what would Xia Tian do?

Han Cheng actually had a plan in mind.

Let people write the content of this interview in a more explicit and ambiguous manner. Also post the kissing photos that were deleted by the magazine. In addition, let the magazine release the pictures on their official platform early, and then edit some fascinating sentences to tease, attract and make things bigger, mainly to agitate and stimulate Zhou Yun’s reaction.

On the other hand, he would not restrain Xia Tian anymore. In any case, Xia Tian was still sticking to him like glue. It was not difficult to kiss him, hug him or do other things which were more intimate.. He could quickly eat him up and take out a week to be close to Xia Tian. When the time came for Zhou Yun to furiously ask to see Xia Tian, he would send Xia Tian to Zhou Yun’s side without any hindrance.

It would be Xia Tian who’d bear the brunt of Zhou Yun’s anger.

For boys of Xia Tian’s age, when they just had the most intimate contact with their lovers during their passionate dating period, they wouldn’t separate and would climb a mountain of swords or plunge into a sea of flames for their lovers. Seeing Zhou Yun’s disagreement, there would definitely be some resistance measures, like crying and pleading, making loud noise, threatening to go on hunger strikes… It was not strange to do any of those things. If this could soften the disturbed Zhou Yun, then this level could be said to be a pass.

After taking good care of Xia Tian’s health, it would be smooth sailing in the future.

It didn’t matter if Zhou Yun was hard-hearted. This was her son, her one and only son. There was no telling what Zhou Yun would do to Xia Tian. It might be a few slaps or have him go hungry for a few meals. It was better to get to have such a reaction. As long as he prepared well in advance, he had his own way to snatch Xia Tian back when the other had no alternative. Then, like a hero, be there for Xia Tian and he would rely on him more.

If Zhou Yun was smart enough, she wouldn’t do this. If it were to come to that point, it would be like she had personally pushed her son to him.

This was also good. Without a mother’s love, Xia Tian was like a bird that suddenly left the nest. After absorbing the warmth from himself, the relationship with him would only become stronger.

No matter how the plot developed, Han Cheng would be the biggest winner. The ones who would be really troubled would not be him from beginning to end.

Han Cheng cast his eyes down and let out a long sigh.

Seeing Han Cheng’s silence for quite some time, Liang Qingfeng couldn’t figure out what he meant, and said, “Mr. Han? Is there anything I need to do? Is… there any plan?”

“There is a plan. But…” Han Cheng gently rubbed the ring on his hand and laughed mockingly, “Liang Qingfeng, have I really aged? A profitable business, a deal that will never be troublesome is now in front of me and I don’t even dare to make a move.”

Liang Qingfeng had been with Han Cheng for many years. He could faintly guess what he was talking about. He whispered, “President Han, if it doesn’t violate the law and discipline, but only suffers a bit of moral condemnation, then we don’t need to care at all. We are businessmen, not philanthropists.”

Han Cheng nodded. “I said this sentence before, but…”

Han Cheng’s plan once again appeared in his mind. After sorting things out just now, some of the rough edges on the minutiae have been repaired and smoothed by Han Cheng. The whole thread of thoughts were rebuilt and reconstructed to become reasonable and smooth. Some that were slightly obvious were properly concealed by Han Cheng. It was almost perfect.

Han Cheng smiled, relieved, completely abandoning the completed plan, and sighed, “But, that’s my husband.”

Liang Qingfeng looked at Han Cheng in amazement, as if seeing an executioner who suddenly became a Buddha by washing his hands in a golden basin at the right time at noon.1午时三刻 Three quarters at noon refers to the right time at noon, which is the third [Zheng Ke] in the [Shizheng] paragraph, which is 12:45. Some people say that 11:45 is three o’clock in the afternoon, which is wrong, that hour is called [three o’clock in the middle of noon]. From the Ming Dynasty onwards, the court basically determined that three quarters in the afternoon was the time to behead the prisoners, because at this time the yang energy was at its strongest and the ghosts of the murdered prisoners received the greatest suppression and would not cause chaos.

Liang Qingfeng hesitated. “Although I don’t know what your plan is, as long as we are careful and with meticulous arrangements, Young Master Xia could think that you don’t know anything from start to finish, so you don’t have to worry…”

“I’m not worried about him knowing.” Han Cheng said lightly, “I just can’t bear it.”

Han Cheng recalled the scheme of “devouring Xia Tian from the inside out” in his earlier plan. Then he packed the idea with a seal and threw it to the bottom of the sea, saying, “Don’t mention it to me anymore. This is it.”

Han Cheng threw the magazine in his hand on the table and said, “Go by yourself… along with this magazine, prepare some gifts and send it to Zhou Yun.”

Liang Qingfeng felt that it was a pity that Han Cheng had stayed close but sought further distance. He subconsciously felt that this was not an easy task and deliberately said, “Much of the interview content is about Young Master Xia. If Mrs. Zhou has any objections to this content…”

Han Cheng said lightly, “Let her directly talk to me. Don’t let Xia Tian know about this.”

Liang Qingfeng couldn’t help but continue, “Mrs. Zhou and Young Master Xia are mother and son. If there are any complications, maybe letting Young Master Xia come forward…”

“Have I not just explained clearly enough?” Han Cheng looked at Liang Qingfeng, “Do not disturb Xia Tian. Do you understand these five words?”

Liang Qingfeng bowed his head. “Understood.”

Liang Qingfeng picked up the magazine and walked out. He thought about it, and then said, “And President Han, you are just over 30 years old and not very young.”

Han Cheng lightly replied, “Don’t need to comfort me. Aren’t you also thirty years old? How can you compare who is younger than who?”

Han Cheng still remembered Xia Tian’s good feeling towards Liang Qingfeng. However, he had a lot of things that kept him occupied recently and didn’t have time to settle it.

Liang Qingfeng didn’t understand why the fire was burning towards him again. Regretting the fact that he had said too much, he nodded and went out.

Two hours later as Han Cheng had expected, Zhou Yun contacted him, saying that she wanted the two of them to sit down and “talk.”

Han Cheng agreed.

  1. Mr. Han, I know you said you were a bad guy but I didn’t expect this Σ(°ロ°)
That’s a really trashy plan, as his sole family, having them dispute like this is…
    Too scheming!

  2. I don’t understand why Han have to play this kind of game with his mother in law?? He and Xia Tian is married and Xia Tian is not a teenager.. Why does this intimate thing needs approval. If she didn’t like his son in law she wouldn’t have agreed to marry her son to him right.
Gosh all these in laws relationships are so formal it’s giving me headache.

    • this is very late but ig u have to rmb that this was a marriage for benefits not love?? she doesn’t outright dislike him but she might have some reservations about him as a person + he’s a whole lot older than xia tian n promised to take care of him as a elder. falling in love might be a bad idea when u think too much about it?

    • Because after 3 years, Zhou Yun expected the two of them to have nothing with each other anymore. She reluctantly believed Han Cheng on basis of his mother, Ruan Sihe’s assurance. 1) their age difference 2) Han Cheng’s messy night/personal life before. Zhou Yun is a good mother for thinking of XiaTian, because considering the surface understanding, they can never have equal relationship. That bias is what Han Cheng is trying to change.
