The haunted house, piano room.

The piano room is located on the west side of St. Mary’s Charity College. Unlike other buildings, it is the only place that has never been burned by fire. When you open the door of the piano room, you will see a white wooden piano.

“Shao Wei, have you found the switch yet?”

“Almost, almost.” Facing Lin Dangdang’s urging, Shao Wei wiped the sweat on his forehead.

Fifteen minutes ago, the two of them entered the piano room together. Lin Dangdang showed her excitement and courage which was not in line with her height. As soon as she entered the room, she ran straight to the piano. She checked and knocked around in the piano room as if she was extremely familiar with the place. Within five minutes, she found the prop on the clue card in the drawer behind the piano – a diary with scribbled handwriting.

The owner of the diary is a girl named Xiao Ai. She is a third-grade student at St. Mary’s Charity College. Her parents died when she was young, and she was raised by the dean. Xiao Ai was often bullied at by her classmates because of her ugly face. They said she was a devil and put a trash can on her. They locked her in the toilet and told her that devils should stay where people can’t see them.

The diary was filled with childlike innocence, yet it was gloomy and cold. Shao Wei and Lin Dangdang flipped through the diary with the help of the light from an oil lamp, looking out the window and discussing quietly.

“According to the logic of general haunted houses, this Xiao Ai is the real ghost,” said Lin Dangdang.

“Why?”

“The three main principles of becoming a ghost: school violence, supernatural powers, and leaving a diary.” Lin Dangdang counted on her fingers and said, “This is the so-called routine.”

Although beautiful people hate Xiao Ai, Xiao Ai does not hate beautiful things. There is a beautiful garden in the central square of St. Mary’s Charity College. When the weather was fine, the teachers would let them out to play in the garden.

But Xiao Ai was never allowed to appear playing with offers. The children were afraid of her and hated her. They said that Xiao Ai killed her parents. And that the ugly birthmark on Xiao Ai’s face and the unpleasant voice would bring bad luck to everyone.

But Xiao Ai was not jealous of them, because she has her own garden. Her garden is a secret base behind the principal’s office. In the greenhouse, the flowers there have extremely bright colors.

The secret base was tightly covered by a tall wall, except for the principal and the head of the teachers, no one was allowed to go there. But Xiao Ai knows that there is a dog hole on the east side of the wall hidden behind the bushes.

Xiao Ai knew the schedule of the principal and the head of the teachers. They would leave the school every Friday and go out to do their work. The adults always had a lot of things to do. Every time at this time, she would go through the backdoor into the secret base and look at her flowers through the glass.

She wasn’t pretty, she didn’t have friends, she had nothing but those frighteningly beautiful flowers, which were the best things she had.

Until one day, a new substitute music teacher came to the school. The teacher was a student from a nearby music high school, with skin as white as snow.

Xiao Ai calls her Xue1Xue means snow Er.

“Xue Er is a beautiful person, and unlike those other people, she doesn’t hate me.”

“She said that I own a pair of beautiful eyes, she plays the piano for me, and she looks very good when she smiles.”

“I think I can learn to like this world because of her.”

“She said that the world is very big and beautiful, and that she would bring to Yun Nang to look at the flowers there during the summer holidays.”

“Xue Er’s birthday is on the first of June, because everyone likes Xue Er, they all prepared gifts.”

“But I don’t have money and don’t have anything pretty to give her, I don’t have anything.”

“So I’m gonna give her my only and best thing.”

The dairy stopped forever on that day. Lin Dangdang turned the pages but there were no more clues.

Shao Wei asked her: “What happened next?”

Lin Dangdang lowered her head, turned her back to him, and said nothing. Shao Wei then leaned forward a little and asked her, “What happened next?”

“Next…… they all died!”

The next moment, Shao Wei saw a face with bloodshot eyes looking at him. He screamed in fear and leaned back. Lin Dangdang, whose evil plan had succeeded, put the lipstick in her hand away while laughing happily: “Hahahaha, you are too lame, hahahaha!”

She wiped off the lipstick she had put on her face. Shao Wei was embarrassed and annoyed by her: “You……you……”

“What are you afraid of? There are no real ghosts in the haunted house.” Lin Dangdang shrugged. “Let’s go. We have to gather in ten minutes. This……” She shook the diary in her hand. “The clues here are enough.”

The two walked out of the piano room one after the other. When they were about to reach the meeting place, Lin Dangdang touched her pocket and said anxiously, “My lipstick fell out!”

After saying that, she was about to turn around to look for it. Shao Wei stopped her and said, “If something like lipstick is lost, it’s lost.”

“You don’t understand.” Lin Dangdang said, “That’s TF’s lipstick, it’s very expensive!”

Seeing that Lu Jin and his group were already waiting in front, Shao Wei thought of his previous gaffe and suddenly found a new opportunity to show off. He said, “Then you go over and meet them first and sort out the clues. I’ll go back and help you find the lipstick.”

Lin Dangdang looked at him suspiciously: “Can you do it alone? Or I should go look for it and you give the diary to them.”

Being questioned by a girl like this, Shao Wei felt that his dignity as a man was challenged. He puffed out his chest and said, “What’s wrong with me? I was also in our street dance club……”

Lin Dangdang said: “I feel like you’re not good at anything except singing, dancing, and rap.”

Shao Wei suffered a devastating blow to his self-confidence, and immediately said coldly: “Give me the oil lamp.”

As soon as he finished saying this, he realized that he had the lamp in his hand the whole time. However, his strong psychological strength prompted him to continue: “You, go and give them the diary. I will go back and find the lipstick for you. Don’t wait for me, I will be back in ten minutes.”

After saying this, he walked towards the piano room in a “hero never looks back to see the explosion” manner. After walking out for just two steps, he heard Lin Dangdang’s voice behind him: “Shao Wei……”

Are you impressed by me? Are you impressed by my masculinity?

Just as he was secretly happy, Shao Wei heard Lin Dangdang’s second sentence: “If you can’t stand it, remember to press the alarm. It doesn’t matter if you can’t find my lipstick.”

Shao Wei: ……

When Shao Wei returned to the piano room it was already five minutes later. When he first came here, he was with Lin Dangdang and he had a strong desire to show off so he didn’t care much about the weird atmosphere here. But now when he’s alone, he feels like there are ghosts everywhere.

As soon as he opened the wooden door of the piano room, he heard the song ‘To Alice’ coming from inside. He felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up and thought of his dignity as a man. He swallowed his saliva and walked in.

There was indeed a person sitting on the piano bench. The person had long hair and only his back was visible. He boldly patted the person on the shoulder and said, “Hey, staff, have you seen a lipstick endorsed by TFboys2TF boys were a popular band in China and I used to be crazy over them when I was 7 ;-; ?”

He just gave a light push, and the man tilted to the other side and fell heavily to the ground. A round object rolled straight towards him, a bloody head. The mouth of the head was a toothless hole, and it was opening and closing as if saying something.

Shao Wei couldn’t hold on any longer. He screamed and rushed out of the door, but the moment he pushed the door open, he bumped into someone.

The man’s body temperature was as cold as ice and as hard as a rock. Shao Wei wanted to scream again, but heard a cold “hush”.

He lowered his head and saw Lin Huai’s expressionless face in the dim light. He felt relieved: “Lin Huai! There is a ghost in that room!”

As soon as he finished speaking, he remembered his duty again – to help Lin Dangdang find her lipstick. He said tremblingly: “My…my lipstick fell in there.”

The man he ran into didn’t speak for a long time. Shao Wei lowered his head again, only to see the handsome young man looking at him with an even more expressionless face.

Lin Huai: “You are so flirty.”

Shao Wei: “No, it’s not like that! Actually, that was Lin Dangdang’s lipstick, I just……”

Lin Huai: “Why are you wearing Lin Dangdang’s clothes and even using other her things?”

Shao Wei was speechless, Lin Huai walked in front of him and entered the piano room, holding a lamp and started looking for lipstick. Shao Wei saw the head and screamed again, asking Lin Huai to kick it out. Lin Huai looked at him, stuffed the TF163The lipstick on the ground into his bag, stood up, and said: “This thing is obviously fake, why are you screaming so loudly, go find the property management.”

Shao Wei: “But but but, what do you mean it doesn’t look real?”

Adhering to the father-son relationship, Lin Huai decided to be patient with him. He squatted down, put the head and torso of the body together, and pointed it to Shao Wei: “Look, the cutting line of this wound is wrong in the first place, and the blood on the head is fake death.”

He sincerely explained for three minutes, and Shao Wei calmed down a little. Lin Huai continued, “Next time you see this kind of fake ghost, don’t scream and scream all day long. Use your brain to think. How can a mere haunted house hire real ghosts to perform?”

“But,” Shao Wei said stubbornly, “I haven’t seen the real thing, how can I know the difference between the fake and the real thing ah!”

Lin Huai looked at him silently, then looked up at the monitor. A blood-red murderous light flashed in his eyes, and the next moment, the red dot on the monitor turned black.

Inside the central building, Chen Shu was still staring at the monitor, thinking. Lin Huai’s words gave him a lot of inspiration.

‘This guy is really amazing.’ He thought, ‘It’s as if he has killed someone before……’

The next moment, the screen went black. He turned to Zhou Ming and asked, “Vhots wrong with four monitor4What’s wrong with your monitor??”

Zhou Ming looked at the monitor and felt a little strange: “This is strange. It was just repaired yesterday……”

Lin Huai hooked his finger at Shao Wei and said, “Come here.”

Shao Wei looked at him.

“Dong!”5A sound of something hitting the ground

The next moment, a spherical object fell to the ground.

The head was held up by both hands and placed on the chest, and the mouth was still opening and closing towards Shao Wei.

“Now can you see it clearly?”

Shao Wei’s eyes rolled back and he fainted.

  1. This story started in December of 2021 and now it is spring of 2025, and up until now there have only been 25 chapters posted for this story.
Doesn’t anyone else think that THE UPDATES FOR THIS STORY ARE TOO SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    That is to say…
POST MORE CHAPTERS AND DO IT MORE OFTEN!!!!!

Do you understand how annoying it is to have to re-read just to remind myself about what happened previously?
