“There’s no need! I still haven’t packed my luggage yet! I’ll just take a nap and my neck will be fine!” Hunter gobbled up his dinner and immediately rushed out, leaving before the team doctor could arrive.
“What’s wrong with this kid?”
“I don’t know. He’s so worked up, but allergies in this period are really troublesome.”
“That’s right, he can’t just take any random medicine. How would he be able to sit still if his condition remains like this during the competition?”
Arriving at the lift, Hunter pressed the button as he breathed a sigh of relief.
Out of the blue, someone lifted the towel around his neck, startling Hunter to press it back down.
“WTF! Donald, it’s you!”
Donald hooked his arm around Hunter’s shoulders. “I say, dude, aren’t you too comical? Did you go out and exercise in a shirt? Why are you covering your neck with a towel? Are you cold? Do you need a scarf?”
“That’s not it…”
Recalling how Donald cancelled the bunny party just because of his diarrhoea, Hunter felt deeply sympathetic for him, yet his urge to show off grew.
“Hehe, because I was so happy yesterday night.” Hunter purposely lifted his towel, showing it to Donald.
Donald was evidently surprised. “My god! What happened to you? You got p… popped?”
“Pop what?” Hunter stared at Donald, having not understood what he meant.
The other grabbed at his scalp. “N… nothing. If you’d actually been burst, would you be able to wait for the elevator today?”
“What’s wrong with you today? All of these came from kisses! Hahaha!”
“From kisses? From… from whom?”
Donald grew nervous at once. That day, he’d promised Winston that he’d never bring Hunter out to pick girls up again, and yet, in a blink of an eye, this kid got covered with traces of glory. If Winston were to misunderstand and assume that he’d taken him there, then he’d never be able to clear this even if he jumped into the Rhine River!
Hunter’s lips pulled up to form a spoiled smile and described ‘Lilith’s Night’ with utmost exaggeration.
“How did you go… to that kind of a place? That’s not somewhere you can get into even if you have the money!”
“Don’t want to tell you.” Hunter blinked enigmatically on purpose while observing Donald’s astonished expression, pleased that he finally managed to regain his dignity in front of this old fritter.
Donald swallowed. “That… I… I have a turtleneck jacket that you can borrow from me… I reckon that your marks won’t disappear by the time you reach Austria… Don’t let Winston Vann see them.”
“Why?” Hunter noticed that today’s Donald was a little different. It was as if… he was feeling guilty?
“I’m afraid that when he sees them, you’ll be unable to participate in the next race… and can only lie on a bed!”
Brother! My warning to you is so clear to understand, can you not toss it aside?! Fooling around with girls is important, but life is even more important!
“Huh? Why? It was Winston who took me there!”
“Why would Winston bring you to that sort of place?! He won’t even allow others to touch…” Donald suddenly thought of something. “You said that you were blindfolded while having fun with someone?”
“That’s right. Isn’t that interesting?” Hunter blinked, feeling proud of himself.
“You said that… you drank a little too much?”
“Yeap, it was my first time getting drunk.”
The first time he actually drank was when Winston brought him to the warehouse bar in Montreal, and it was also his first time getting drunk yesterday. It seemed like… many firsts in his life were all given to Winston.
Donald patted Hunter’s shoulders, carrying an unfathomable twist in his smile. “The strength of those women was really strong! If I didn’t know, I would’ve thought that you were kissed by a man!”
“Huh… How could that be?” Hunter looked at Donald with a gaze that seemed to say ‘does your brain have an issue?’.
“It’s alright, it’s alright… As long as you’re happy!”
“After the competition in Austria, do you have any activity planned afterwards?” Hunter revealed an expectant expression.
“Activity? You still want to mess around?”
“…Aren’t you always the one who’d set up a bunch of activities after every race?” Hunter frowned at the other and poked his chest with his finger. “Hey… Why do I feel that you’re being weird?”
“How am I weird? It’s your brain circuit that’s abnormal! After each race, you should recharge your batteries and have a good rest!”
When the elevator arrived, Donald briskly stepped in.
“Did you have such intense diarrhoea that you’ve shit your head silly?”
Early morning the next day, Hunter brought his luggage and flew to Austria with the rest of his team.
At the lounge area, Hunter waited for the boarding notice as he played Anipop.
Several flight attendants, donned in their suits and skirts, pulled their suitcases as they walked ahead. Each sweetly smiling as they swayed beautifully.
Every single man in the team raised their heads, including the stuck-up McGrady.
Hunter observed the elegant and thin calves exposed from their skirts and swallowed subconsciously.
McGrady then sneered, “I can tell straight away that you’ve never felt a lady’s leg before. Your saliva’s about to touch your phone!”
Hunter indifferently jerked his eyebrows. “Even though I’ve never felt a lady’s leg before, I’ve been pleased and kissed by a woman, it’s way better than a twisted guy like you, right?”
“I know you’re lying, your hair obviously hasn’t even grown out yet!” McGrady glared at him.
This angered Hunter and he suddenly turned over.
“What do you want?” McGrady asked.
“I want to go to the washroom and take a picture to show you!”
“If I’m wrong then I’m wrong! As if I care about the chance to see your little Hunter!”
Hunter snorted before heading to the washroom.
His phone vibrated, a text message popped up indicating that it was from Winston.
Hunter beamed as he clicked on the text message which only contained a few short words. [What are you up to?]
Hunter grinned as he replied, [Going to the washroom to take a picture!]
Winston’s reply was so fast that Hunter doubted how quick he could type. [What picture are you taking?]
Hunter texted back, [A picture of my little Hunter! That McGrady asshole mocked that my hair hasn’t grown out yet! Today, I want him to see it clearly!]
After a few seconds, Winston’s text on his phone screen almost caused him to choke on his saliva. [Go take it, but only send it to me.]
Hunter scratched the back of his head and thought to himself. Buddy, it’s not good if you always tell such jokes that make me blush and embarrassed!
He quickly replied, [Only the damned would send it to you!]
Winston’s reply only made him want to throw his phone out immediately. [Either you don’t take it, or you send it to me. Otherwise, I’ll yank your little Hunter off.]
“I really have no way of communicating with this dude any longer!”
While gritting his teeth and grumbling, he seemed to have knocked against someone.
The other exclaimed and staggered backwards. Hunter subconsciously reached out to grab the latter’s waist. He couldn’t help but be stunned as he saw the other’s face. “Lilith?”
“Oh… It’s you…”
It was one of the ladies who accompanied Hunter during ‘Lilith’s night’. It was just that at the moment, she was pulling a piece of luggage; evidently, she was a stewardess.
“What a coincidence! To unexpectedly run into you here! Where are you flying to?”
“Austria.” The other smiled a little bashfully.
Her make-up was simple and elegant, with her hair curled behind her head, appearing both graceful and dignified. No one could link her back to that seductive Lilith.
“What a coincidence, I’m also flying to Austria! We should be on the same scheduled flight! Oh right, what’s your name? I can’t keep calling you Lilith right?”
“Amy… You can call me Amy.”
“That… it’s truly unbelievable… The traces you guys left on my body yesterday are still there. It’s really hard to imagine that the passionate woman was you! But I really like your current appearance…”
Amy closed her eyes, turning her face away, her smile seemed a little frustrated. “I think you’ve had a misunderstanding, those traces have nothing to do with me.”
“They’re not from you?”
Hunter was completely puzzled.
“At the very least, I’m not the one who left them.” Amy smiled, wanting to drag her suitcase away from Hunter.
Hunter paused, observing Amy’s current appearance, she definitely didn’t seem to be such a frantic and enthusiastic woman.
She mentioned ‘at the very least, I’m not the one who left them’. Does that mean it was the other two ladies who left marks?
“Then what did you do?” Hunter stuffed his hands into his pockets as he smirked at her.
“I only tied your left leg to the chair, then fed you your first glass of alcohol, and also blindfolded your eyes.” Amy smiled and waved her hand as she walked to the passageway.
Hunter felt his chin, even though he was disoriented at that time, he certainly felt someone seated on his body, with such a strong and resolute kiss… It definitely wasn’t just him hallucinating from the alcohol.
A few minutes later, the broadcast sounded and Hunter followed his team and boarded the plane.
He silently sat in his seat and had already fastened his seat belt long ago. His hand supported his chin as he appeared to be ruminating deeply about something.
However, Marcus was a little nervous at the side.
Once humans started to ponder, the gods would laugh.
Once Hunter started to ponder, the team’s situation wouldn’t be good!
But Marcus couldn’t bear to disturb his quiet and ‘well-behaved’ appearance.
Yet for Hunter, in this current moment, his mind was going back to the insanity of that night.
So who exactly was the one pressed on top, kissing him?
The more he recalled, the vaguer some things became, but what left the deepest impression on him… became even clearer.
He recalled the strength of the other’s caress, the other’s forceful entrance using his tongue, just like an expedition going out of control.
…Even though he was the one being controlled, Hunter felt that the other’s franticness was fixed around him, subversively and turbulently spinning.
It had obviously frightened him so much, yet he missed it as well.
The plane stabilised as it entered the cloud layer.
Hunter unfastened his seat belt and headed towards the washroom, coincidentally meeting Amy who was covering a guest with a blanket.
“Hey, can I ask you a question?” Hunter opened and asked.
Amy politely smiled. “If it’s a question unrelated to this flight, then I won’t answer you.”
Amy left then, but Hunter trailed behind her and suddenly pushed her into the bathroom, locking the door at an astonishing speed.
Everything happened in a flash, no one noticed what Hunter had done.
Amy stared at Hunter with her eyes wide open, tumbling down onto the toilet lid.
Hunter’s finger moved to the side of Amy’s ear as he smiled at her. “You don’t have to be so surprised. The reaction speed of a racer can be faster than an electric current. I only want to ask you a question.”
“What?” Amy observed Hunter, her pair of beautiful eyes seemed to hold some sort of expectation.
“That day, the one who kissed me…” Hunter faced Amy and pulled his collar apart, revealing the traces that were on the brink of fading. “The one who left these kisses all over my body, who was it?”
‘I… I can’t tell you. These are the club’s rules. If I told you, I’d be fired. The income I get there is very important to me. Furthermore…”
Amy started hesitating.
“Furthermore?”
“Furthermore, I left your side after you got drunk.”
“Fine.” Hunter’s intuition told him that although Amy was concealing something, she didn’t lie.
He straightened his back, stuffed his hands into his pockets and smiled towards Amy. “Then once we’ve reached Austria, can I invite you out for a meal?”
Amy was both sexy and cute, just like the woman of his dreams.
“I would like to, but I can’t.”
Amy shook her head regretfully.
“You have a boyfriend?”
“No… It’s just that I can’t touch you.”
“You can’t touch me? Why?”
“It’s the same reason… If I touched you, I’d lose my job at the club… Needless to say, the same goes if I had a meal or hung out with you.”
“I know that I’m way younger than you, and you might not fancy the immature types…”
“No, please don’t get me wrong, you’re not immature… it’s the opposite. You’re quite attractive, but I can’t do it.” Amy got up and carefully passed by Hunter in the narrow space to exit the washroom.
Hunter was a little disappointed, he didn’t understand what the real issue was.
If you think I’m attractive, then why can’t you do it?
“Hey, if you return to London tomorrow… still alone, then you can come find me.” Amy blinked her eyes.
Hunter pressed his finger against his head and sighed. “From the way you speak, it’s as if I already have a woman right now.”
Ah, forgot to ask the names of the other two Liliths.
But… it’s fine to not find them, at least I can cherish this crazy fantasy.
When the plane arrived in Austria, the team transferred to Spielberg, where the Red Bull circuit was located.
When the team arrived at the hotel, Hunter threw his luggage into his room, then opened the window. He could see the distinctively pleasing and exquisite scenery.
It was really beautiful.
Hunter took a deep breath, every pore seemed to open itself.
He left his room and strolled along the forested pathway beside the hotel.
Not far away was a clear lake, and not too far away was a mountain range. Along with the azure sky and man-made rocky waterfall at the lakeside, it was as if a curtain of fog was created.
Hunter stuffed his hands into his pockets and suddenly wondered which hotel the Ferrari team was staying at. Could they also see such a splendid view?
When the lake and sky seemed to be interconnected, Hunter suddenly recalled the scenery he saw from the London Eye that day, as well as the poem Winston had whispered to him.
“Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths… enwrought with golden and silver light, the blue and the dim and the dark cloths, of night, light and the half-light… I would spread the cloths under your feet.”
Hunter leaned against a tree, distantly gazing as the sunset fell on the lake. It all seemed like a dream.
Yet he inexplicably started missing Winston.
“But I have nothing but dreams…” Winston’s voice from his memories flowed into his head as if it was being guided, he gave himself a mocking smile. Who would’ve thought that he’d remember such a complex verse. Or was it Winston’s voice that he remembered? “So let me spread my dreams beneath your feet.”
Before his eyes were the car cabin, Winston was clearly so close, but he seemed to be waiting for Hunter to pass him. “Be gentler, Hunter… Because my dreams are supporting your feet.”
He’d obviously felt that the scenery of the London’s Eye was unchanging… but at this moment, he still reminisced over it.
“Be gentler, because my dreams are supporting your feet.”
A soft voice carrying intellect resounded from not far away.
Hunter turned over and saw a lady using a SLR to capture the afterglow of the setting sun.
Only when she took away her SLR, and flashed a smile at Hunter, was he shocked to realise that the other was in fact a well-known media person— Audrey Wilson.
In the past, Hunter only watched from afar as she interviewed ‘White Shark’ Ciel, or Owen from Red Bull, but most of the time it was actually Winston. Otherwise, he’d see her on TV, yet now she was standing less than 3 metres away from him, smiling.
“Hello, Miss Wilson… I’m thankful for the flowers you gifted me at the previous Grand Prix,” Hunter responded two seconds later.
“Your performance left an impression on me, you’ve refused defeat in times of adversity. It convinced me that your performance at Montreal wasn’t by sheer luck or coincidence. I’m looking forward to seeing what you can achieve at this stop.”
Audrey Wilson stretched out her hand towards Hunter.
This was the first time that anyone from the media took the initiative to reach out and express goodwill towards him. Hunter suddenly became nervous, he was worried that he’d say something inappropriate.
“Someone told me previously that you stutter… But when you recited Yeats ‘Adeh wishes for the cloths of heaven’ earlier, it was natural, so romantic. From a distance away, it looked as if you were missing someone.”
“Yeats? Was he a poet?” Hunter asked curiously.
“You don’t know who Yeats is, yet you’re able to recite his poem?” Audrey laughed.
“This poem was recited to me by someone else, I only thought of it just now.”
“Your honesty’s truly cute. Others would usually pretend that they knew something about it.” Audrey crooked her head as she observed Hunter, suddenly showing a regretful expression. “What a waste, I don’t have the heart to pursue you anymore.”
“Why?”
“Did you know that the poet Yeats had been pursuing the actress, Maud Gonne. Even though that love never had an ending in his lifetime, she was his eternal dream. If someone recited this poem to you… she must’ve regarded you to be her most important and irrevocable person from the bottom of her heart. She must love you a lot. To be with you would be her pursuit that weighs above everything.”
Hunter froze on the spot, only to show a self-mocking smile two seconds later. “It’s not ‘her’, it’s ‘him’.”
“What?”
“The one who recited the poem to me was a male.”
“Oh… You…” Audrey displayed a shocked expression.
“Hahaha, he’s my most important friend at the moment. Because we’re both racers, we have a common endpoint. He’s so much better than me, so he’s been waiting for me to catch up to him as soon as possible.”
“It’s really enviable.” Audrey lowered her head while smiling.
“What are you envious about?”
“You guys are clearly in the same field, competing against one another. Take me for example… Those in the same profession around me aren’t anticipating my success, but rather my downfall, and the uglier my fall, the better it is. But you guys are different, I can tell just by your expression when you talk about him, his existence makes you feel fulfilled and happy. In any field, it’ll only be exciting if there’s a comparable level of competition.”
“Thinking about it like this, it seems to be right.” Hunter expressed a big smile.
“But, Hunter Evan… You’re really a little liar.” Audrey tilted her head and sized him up carefully.
“Me? Why would I lie to you?”
“You’ve lied to a lot of people. After the end of the British GP, my colleagues went to interview Marcus’ team. All of them returned and said that Evan Hunter stutters to a certain extent, and won’t be able to speak once he panics a little.” Audrey took a step forward and Hunter was reflected in her beautiful eyes. “But earlier when you were reciting poems, and also when you were speaking to me… you didn’t even get stuck.”
Hunter turned over and helplessly smiled. “I’m not telling a lie. I can’t talk when I get too nervous.”
“Oh… I get it, it’s because I’m not attractive enough for you, so your mood can be so tranquil.”
“That’s… That’s not it! Watching you interview different racers from afar, I’m envious of them! Since they could speak face-to-face with such an attractive lady like you…” Hunter started to panic, he didn’t know how to explain it.
“Fine, seeing how nervous you are, I’ll believe you.” Audrey half-jokingly hooked Hunter’s chin up. “After this race, I hope that I’ll have the opportunity to interview you face-to-face.”
Hunter froze.
Only young racers determined by Audrey to have potential would then be invited for a face-to-face interview.
In other words, did this mean that Audrey had recognised his strength after two races?
Hunter was in high spirits, he had a feeling that his dream was about to come true.
“So you’re here, Hunter.”
The wintry voice felt as if it had combined the sunlight with the nighttime.
Hunter came back to his senses and noticed Winston standing not far away with his hands stuffed in his pockets.

The author has something to say:
When frying eggs:
Hunter: Why did Amy claim that she can’t touch me?
Winston: Because I’d fire her if she dares touch you.
Hunter: What? Previously, you didn’t allow Gina to touch me at the warehouse! Now you don’t allow Amy to touch me! Are you really taking me out to pick girls up?
Winston: I’m obviously not taking you out to pick up girls.
Hunter: Then what are you taking me out for?
Winston: Taking you out to be picked up by me.
