Chapter 6.2 – So bad

Obviously, this person was not the Regent, but this subconscious reaction was really deep-rooted.

Ling Song was secretly distressed, and felt that this was not right.

Wen Yuanchu didn’t know that he was thinking about these things.

He helped him delete King of Glory, then opened his WeChat, took out his own phone, and added his number.

He asked Ling Song, “Do you know how to use WeChat?”

Ling Song replied with an “Eh” and continued, “My mother taught me, it’s simple.”

“Don’t use voice input in the future, just use the pinyin keyboard.”

Ling Song chose to keep quiet.

Wen Yuanchu returned the phone to him.

Ling Song glanced at it and saw that the man’s WeChat avatar was a ginkgo leaf, which was very pleasing to the eye.

Speaking of which, he had planted a ginkgo tree in the courtyard of Xing Qing Palace.

I wonder if the tree is still there.

Even if it was not cut down by later generations, it should have been handed over to the country now, right?

… I hope I can go and see it again when I have the chance.

Ling Song was thinking about it, and his mind was wandering again.

Wen Yuanchu glanced at his watch and reminded him, “Continue with the lesson.”

Ling Song came back to his senses and picked up the pen absent-mindedly.

At noon, Wen Yuanchu stayed at the Ling household for lunch.

At the dinner table, Ling’s mother asked him how Ling Song was doing and whether he needed to repeat a grade.

Wen Yuanchu looked at Ling Song and said, “Ling Song is very smart. He was able to learn most of the content at once. If he puts in more effort, he should be able to catch up before the third year of high school. I will also tell Teacher Ma tomorrow, don’t worry.”

The Ling family breathed a sigh of relief.

Ling Song lowered his head and ate his meal.

This guy having the Regent face and praised him for being smart… It was embarrassing.

That guy used to say nothing good, only saying that he was weak, stupid, and incompetent.

In comparison, Wen Yuanchu was really a good person.

After dinner, Mother Ling reminded them to rest for a while before going to class.

Wen Yuanchu leaned back on the sofa and closed his eyes to rest.

Ling Song lay on the bed, holding his mobile phone, trying to send WeChat messages to people using the pinyin keyboard.

Zhang Yang: Wen Yuanchu really tutored you at your house?

Ling Song: Yes, he came last night. He taught very well. I am already in the third grade of elementary school math.

Zhang Yang: …Your old father is a little worried.

Wang Zide: Boss, is there anyone else at home? It’s not just you and him, right?

Ling Song: Why do you ask this?

Wang Zide: Of course, I’m afraid that the cabbage will be eaten by the pig ah, silly girl.

Ling Song suspected that they also misunderstood that he was interested in Wen Yuanchu.

He felt that he was at a loss.

He had lived two lives and had never even touched the little hands of a girl, but now he was misunderstood to have an unrequited love with a man who looked like his enemy in his previous life.

It was too miserable.

It was all the Regent’s fault.

In his previous life, until his death, he didn’t marry. In the third year of his reign, the Regent was forced by the pressure of the ministers and reluctantly arranged a marriage for him. His fiancée was the daughter of a second-rank official. After the marriage was granted, his grandmother and mother died of illness one after another, and he passed away before the lady could finish her mourning period.

Master Ma always said that the Regent had a bad heart. He didn’t want him, the emperor, to marry and leave a wife, so he deliberately chose a fiancée with a bunch of sickly people in his family.

Ling Song agreed deeply.

Wen Che was too bad.

He must have had his head stuck in the door to like Wen Yuanchu, who looked like him.

He sat back at his desk.

The WeChat group was still ringing, Wen Yuanchu’s eyes moved over, and Ling Song quickly covered the screen with his hand to prevent him from seeing the nonsense of those unruly people.

“What are you looking at?” He deliberately raised his voice, and if you look at me again, I’ll dig your eyes out.

Wen Yuanchu ignored him and pushed the questions he had just given him, “Do these ten questions, and then we’ll talk about the rest.”

Ling Song’s face fell instantly.

“Why is it so difficult? This is different from what you said before.”

“It’s not beyond the syllabus, it’s just a mixture of concepts. It’s not enough to just do basic questions, and the exam won’t only test basic questions.”

“How to do it?”

“Think about it on your own.”

What a bad guy.

It wasn’t until ten o’clock in the evening that Ling Song was let go, and Wen Yuanchu was sent away like a Buddha.

Before leaving, Wen Yuanchu reminded him: “Go to bed early, I’ll come again tomorrow morning.”

Hah.

After taking a shower, Ling Song lay on the bed and replied weakly in the WeChat group.

Ling Song: My back and waist ache and my whole body is sore. Xiao Dezi, come and serve me quickly.

Wang Zide: Fuck.

Zhang Yang: Fuck.

Others: Fuck.

Ling Song: What do you guys mean?

The group was silent for a full half minute.

Wang Zide: Boss,…what did Wen Yuanchu do to you?

Ling Song: He is so mean, deliberately tormenting me.

He obviously learned it all, but that bastard always gave him those weird and strange problems.

He thought he was a good person.

Sure enough, he was just like the Regent, with a bad heart.

The group fell into a strange silence again.

Ling Song didn’t notice it. No one was talking and he was too lazy to say anything. He quit the message interface and saw a new message coming in.

Wen Yuanchu: Don’t lie on the bed and play with your phone. Go to bed early.

Ling Song: You’re talking nonsense, I didn’t.

Wen Yuanchu: Don’t say bad words.

Ling Song: I really didn’t.

Wen Yuanchu: I saw it.

Ling Song jumped up from the bed.

Wen Yuanchu was standing by the window of the second-floor room on the opposite building, holding his cell phone.

Ling Song was getting angry, glared at him fiercely, closed the window and pulled the curtains tight.

Lying back on the bed, Wen Yuanchu sent another message.

Wen Yuanchu: Good night.
