Chapter 28 – He is very good

 Ever since the day he was brought out by the youth to get the pair of matching rings, the cat like Heidis would from time to time, look down to gaze at the ring hanging from his neck then narrow his eyes as he stared at the other ring on the youth’s finger.

His most important treasure was here, he must carefully protect it.

“Meow?”

The Heidis originally in his lap suddenly found himself pushed to the side and issued a low and questioning mew.

“The fridge is empty, I have to go out and stock up more food.”

Gu Yan reached to rub his back before standing up.

The change in light had no effect on the Heidis race. Without turning on the lights, the Heidis continued to quietly lay on the spot where the youth had originally been.

He’ll be back in a minute. Its tail no longer moved; Only a pair of vertical pupils were fixed intently on the door…

Although he had been waiting for a long time, because of what the youth had said before leaving, the Heidis waited very patiently.

But even until the end of the day, the door was never opened, stubbornly remaining closed. There weren’t even footsteps outside the door…
