Song Yi grinned and gently held Gu Xingchuan’s wrist, tenderly rubbing it. “Gu Xingchuan…”
He spoke very slowly, rolling the name between his lips with some lingering meaning.
The breaths of the two intertwined, leaving the atmosphere rather ambiguous.
A series of images flashed across Gu Xingchuan’s eyes – Song Yi’s red and swollen lips slightly open as he laid under himself. He held onto Song Yi’s slender calf as he bent them and violently invaded within. The sensation of Song Yi’s thin and delicate waist. An agitated mind, a feverish body.
Song Yi broke away and displayed a steady smile. “Don’t do anything to me in the future.”
Gu Xingchuan understood that he was being played. He stretched out his hand and pressed Song Yi’s shoulder back onto the bed, sneering, “Don’t forget that you begged me yesterday.”
Song Yi’s fire raged. Gu Xingchuan had completely taken advantage of him yesterday. “Yesterday I didn’t even know who you were, so how could I beg you?”
Gu Xingchuan’s eyes burned with fiery anger. He approached Song Yi. “You have some guts!”
Song Yi pitted himself against Gu Xingchuan. If he admitted it, then he couldn’t raise his head in front of Gu Xingchuan any longer. So he sneered instead. “Thank you for the compliment.”
Gu Xingchuan laughed angrily. “Don’t just thank me, I can help you more than this.”
Song Yi couldn’t hold it in any longer. He resisted, moving up from the bed but Gu Xingchuan refused, clutching his wrist tightly. “Where are you going?”
“It has nothing to do with you.” Song Yi struggled to break free, not wanting to stay in this place for a minute.
Gu Xingchuan’s breath stagnated, and he leaned closer to Song Yi’s ear. “Don’t move, You’re making me heat up.”
Song Yi was dazed. His entire body stiffened, not daring to move at all. His face burned with panic. “Let me go, I’m going to take a bath.”
Gu Xingchuan adjusted his breathing. After several minutes, he slowly released his restraint on Song Yi and stood up. He turned his face away, saying uncharacteristically, “If you have something to say, then do so. Don’t simply tempt me.”
Song Yi gritted his teeth, not wanting to say a word further. His body was at its breaking point; he didn’t even have the strength to sit up. But in front of Gu Xingchuan, he could never show any weakness. He forced his weak legs down to get out of bed. Less than a few steps, he staggered, trembling as he swayed.
Gu Xingchuan couldn’t stand it any longer. He stretched out to support Song Yi’s waist. “I’m here. What are you acting strong for?”
It was because you were here that I could not show any weakness, Song Yi thought. He pushed Gu Xingchuan’s muscular arm away. “I can walk by myself.”
How could Gu Xingchuan let him walk over like this? Impossible. He leaned down, grabbed Song Yi’s knee with one hand, and horizontally carried him. Instantly, the heavens were spinning in front of Song Yi. Both startled and frightened, his heart skipped a beat. “You let me down, I can walk by myself.”
Gu Xingchuan pretended not to hear. He opened the tent curtain, and walked into the temporary bathroom built by the crew on the island. The space inside was small, only enough for one person to stand. Usually, everyone would take a shower here after filming in the sea.
Song Yi hurriedly closed the door, in fear that Gu Xingchuan would squeeze in and open the shower head to wash himself. Gu Xingchuan was like a dog, biting and gnawing. He didn’t feel it when he was on the bed just now but under the current cold pour of water, it hurt until he shook uncontrollably.
He was unsure when the rain on the island stopped, but the sky gradually cleared up. The smell of grass and trees after the rain in the air mixed with the whiff of sea breeze.
After Song Yi took a shower, he changed into the clean clothes that Gu Xingchuan brought in, and he regained his energy, although not as uncomfortable as before.
He went back to the tent to pack his things. Water had soaked through his phone yesterday, causing the screen to turn black. Fortunately, there was a spare. Song Yi took out the sim card and switched it. When he opened the inbox, it prompted a series of missed calls, some of which were calls from Director Yang, some were from Cheng Song and other friends.
Song Yi first called Director Yang back to apologize, panicked then informed that he was injured yesterday. Song Yi was one who usually had nothing happen to him. Director Yang didn’t blame him much, parting with some words of concern, telling him to be more careful.
After much consideration, Song Yi contacted Cheng Song.
As soon as the call was connected, Cheng Song’s nervous voice sounded. “Song Yi, are you all right? Director Yang couldn’t find you…”
“I’m fine. I had a little trouble yesterday, but it’s resolved now.” Song Yi’s voice sounded energetic.
Gu Xingchuan hugged his arms, leaned on the chair, and stared at Song Yi.
It was as if he was not full when he spoke just now, so Song Yi would be happy to make a phone call.
“It’s fine. I want to tell you good news.”
“What good news?”
“I bought the original Blu-ray disc of “XXX”, I remember you always liked it.”
Song Yi’s eyes lit up and he grinned. “You’re amazing. I’ve been searching for half a year and was still unable to find it.”
“When you come back, let’s watch this together.”
“Great. I miss your home theater so much, watching “XXX” on it must be awesome.”
Cheng Song was about to say something else but he heard the violent sound of “bang bang bang” on the other end of the phone. He asked, “Song Yi, what’s the matter?”
Gu Xingchuan’s features were indifferent. He straightened his long legs, and kicked the square table with the tip of his shoes, causing a steady stream of noise.
Song Yi glared at him and lowered his voice, “It’s nothing. The dog raised by the crew is disobedient, just being naughty.”
Gu Xingchuan’s eyebrows furrowed. He stared at Song Yi with cold eyes.
Cheng Song smiled. “Your crew has a dog? What breed?”
Song Yi was in a good mood and said casually, “Alaskan. Rather fun.”
“Is that so?” Cheng Song was alert and gave a thoughtful suggestion, “Likely it is in estrus. Sterilization should be done earlier, good for both dogs and humans.”
Song Yi guffawed. Gu Xingchuan’s face was so ugly, as if he wanted to eat people. Song Yi couldn’t be more happy. “You’re right, how could I forget about this.”
Cheng Song also laughed and softened his tone, “I haven’t heard your laughter in a long time. As soon as I hear you laugh, I’ll feel very good.”
“Then you have to contact me more often, good for your physical and mental health.” Song Yi teased him back.

“I’m just waiting for you to go back to the Capital to have dinner together. The place we often go to recently has new dishes. You would like its taste.”
Gu Xingchuan frowned. It was so fucking disgusting he couldn’t listen anymore. He grabbed Song Yi’s cell phone and quickly hung up.
Song Yi glared at him. “What are you doing?”
“Doing what makes me happy. You are not allowed to call him.” Gu Xingchuan held the phone and weighed it in his hand.
Song Yi was baffled. He gritted his teeth. “Are you sick? Does who I call have something to do with you?”
Gu Xingchuan scanned him.”I won’t allow it. Your body has just recovered. Take a good rest.”
“Are you a doctor? Do you have that sort of background?” Song Yi interrogated him back. He didn’t know how he had hit Gu Xingchuan’s spot.
Gu Xingchuan coldly replied, “Of course I do. What if your cold recurs and spreads to me?”
Fine. Song Yi only caught a cold. But he was also afraid of contracting a brain disability. “Give me back the phone.”
Gu Xingchuan was unmoved and probed at Song Yi. “What is your relationship with Cheng Song? Do you often hang out together?”
Song Yi frowned. “Why are you asking this?”
“Star Entertainment is my company right now. You are all employees of Star Entertainment. I’m checking on the relationship between you two,” Gu Xingchuan answered righteously.
Song Yi took a deep breath and conceded. “I don’t need a cell phone then. After being classmates with you for so many years, I’m willing to give you one.”
Take it to hell and play with it for all I care, you bastard.
Gu Xingchuan became even more upset. He was unhappy when he heard that Song Yi and Cheng Song had such a close relationship, but now that Song Yi was angry, he felt uncomfortable.
Yesterday he made Song Yi look like that. Today he made Song Yi angry.
He was too much of a jerk, wasn’t he?
Song Yi got into the quilt and slept inside. By the time he woke up, the crew’s ship had arrived. Song Yi returned to Seaside City and got about half a month’s sick leave from Director Yang, returning to the capital without saying a word.
When he returned home, he stood in a familiar room and hugged the pillow. Only then did he feel a sense of security.
Although in front of Gu Xingchuan he was calm and unruffled, his heart was in fact almost dripping blood.
But there was no time for him to come to terms with the hurt and sadness, nor to complain about his chastity. Zhao Hongyan came to the door that afternoon, with a bodyguard who was buff and muscular like a tree trunk, a strong back and a thick waist. No matter where he stood, he was a worthy obstacle.
He was someone Song Yi asked his friend to hire.
Song Yi looked up and down, feeling a little familiar. “What’s your name?”
Zhao Hongyan pulled Song Yi’s sleeve and winked, whispering, “Xiao Zhao is your high school alumnus – Zhao Jiangwei.”
Having heard that, Song Yi remembered that school bully in High School. He met a group of gangsters outside the school who charged protection fees all day long.
Song Yi stretched out his hand and smiled lightly. “Nice to meet you. I have troubled you these few days.”
Zhao Jiangwei had a strange look and shook his hand. Song Yi glanced at his trembling hand and soothed him, “Sit down, don’t be nervous.”
Zhao Jiangwei stared blankly into space as he sat on the sofa, gaze not shifting at all. Song Yi saw a thin layer of cold sweat on the back of his neck. With a look, he could tell Zhao Jiangwei was scared stiff. He was curious. Although they were in the same school together, they had never crossed paths. What happened to Zhao Jiangwei that made him so frightened?
“Do we know each other?” Song Yi asked curiously.
Zhao Jiangwei’s lips were trembling. His face was pale. He glanced at Song Yi and stammered, “I don’t know, we haven’t met.”
